I was due for my booster (6 months would have been 01 Nov 21) but I couldn't time it right with getting an appointment and work... so three months after infection. This week isn't looking good for a flu shot, either

Has the waiting period gone down there? It has been reduced from 6mths after your 2nd shot to 4mths for the booster jab here.
Which means I can get my booster now instead of 25th Feb

Ominous skies coming off the trail at dusk today. Weather now more like October/March than end of December. Mid 70's forecasted all week with a chance of storms. Crazy.

Nice perspective and you also caught a skein of geese in the process.
The weather is certainly crazy here as well. If we don't get any of that rain forecasted, I think we'll turn into a dust bowl.
More from the Kanas Countryside, always try to stop and record abandoned house when I see them, many either disappear or they sometimes get revamped. Playing around with some of the tools I have in post. Still from last weeks drive. Lens in the first is actually the 55 F/1.2, really renders sharp landscapes! Last two are same processed differently.
B&W gets my vote. The people movement is fine, because it shows the motion of the scene. Belated Happy Birthday, Andy.

Another of the Town Hall, this time from a different angle for the tree, just 2 landscape shots on top of each other = 1:1 square format.
As discussed previously, I'm now shooting Raw+jpeg, using a mono Picture Control so that I'm seeing mono in the EVF, getting a mono jpeg and the original colour RAW file too.

Another from Coalcliff Beach Rock Pool.
Do they have these in the States ? They make a swimming pool on the rocks, it gets topped up by waves at high tide. There's a famous club of people who swim in the one at Sydney's Bondi Beach called the Bondi Icebergs. The idea being that it's a safe place to swim away from the surf, rip tides, sharks etc. A lot of them have a shallower section for toddlers.
Also, the Sealife Aquarium in Sydney is in the harbour and waves enter the top of some of the larger shark tanks which I found interesting.
My daughter's Xmas gift was 4 nights in an Apartment Hotel in Brisbane so I may venture out at some point for a pic or two. Just me, AC and cable TV. Heaven
Andy, doubt the California coastal commission would allow one of these tide swimming pools but in my native El Salador they were quite common, most fun at high tide with the waves breaking on them! great photo.

The presidio, (Spanish Barracks) site of the San Diego de Alcala Mission. Nothing was left of the original buildings, this is a city park built and donated by a wealthy American in the 1920s.
Juan Cabrillo the Portuguese Spanish discoverer of California. He was not a conquistador as he went to San Clemente island, broke a leg and passed. Spain did not take an interest in California until the 1700s, with the Franciscan Missions, the local native tribes still practice Catholicism and speak Spanish.
