Thanks for sharing all that Laura. I'm interested in the different symptoms people report, the published material is very inconsistent and it's good to get first hand reports. You seem to be doing reasonably given given the circumstances, and in your case, no fever, no muscle pain, no loss of smell but you've lucked out with nausea. The 11th is only 5 days away, fingers crossed Laura.
Missed a whole bunch of days, don't think I'll try too hard to catch up on everything but just restart on the last couple of pages.
Hope you get to being better real soon Laura. Like Jay I've had a surge in friends reporting infections (including breakthroughs) this last couple of weeks.

Andy, you are on a roll my friend, wows and thumbs up for all your work! I ended up sending the GFX 50R back and will be getting the IIS in its place, should have ordered that one from the get go! IBIS will allow me to really settle into this camera and enjoy it! I was tempted to just get the 100S but I have no need for all those pixels, the files would be around 100MB in RAW, I already have way too many hard drives and DVDs of old photos, lol
Keep them coming Andy, really enjoying!
Mark
Thanks Mark and congrats in advance on the IIS. For me the R ergonomics just didn't appeal. What was it you didn't like?

Nothing wrong with it, 50SII just has even more right, IBIS, new processor, few more features... in essence I bought into the platform even more to want the latest release and benefits. Hopefully makes sense!

Looks better before uploading ... need to work on my settings for upload
Long time no read. I've had to start from the low 153x. So many wonderful images shared and not one Z9 speculation. I love.
Laura, I am sorry the virus broke through but here's wishing you are well on your way to a full recovery. We've had a few scares with colleagues but luckily all have pulled through.
I shot stuff last week with the Df and managed to lose the SD card between removing it from the camera and inserting into the card reader. I've never managed that before but eventually had to concede defeat. I can't find it. Highly embarrassing.

Thankfully I do have the annual and sick leave to take. I'm hoping I can get it back

Glad to hear you're dealing with it and staying out of the hospital. Hope it doesn't last too long. I also hope you have the sick leave to handle it.
I did forget the low grade fever, which disappeared, but this morning it made a reappearance for a couple hours. I do have zofran if I experience any more nausea, tessalon for the cough, and ibuprofen for the headache. Infusion is set for Wednesday morning at 0700. They say it will take two hours total time, and to eat before I go... I asked about a flu shot, and the nurse said she's punting that to my doc. Doc appointment Friday afternoon when the hospital should be fairly empty.
Definitely a good advertisement for getting the shot, even though it didn't KEEP me from getting it, at least it MITIGATED the effects. My supervisor has watched me walking from the car to the building many times, seeing me pull up my mask before I ever get near the building.
And my sense of smell is gone now. This ain't over yet.
