Well that sucks! When they cracked me in two and inserted the new to me kidney - guess what else they did...Yeah, they put a stent in the same place leighton and Siphiwe - AND - nothing other than some numbing gel to remove it 6 weeks post op. I told the doc that spot was "for output only", and then afterwards that it was "the last time he would ever see me". Getting old ain't for no sissies.
You had it worse than I did my friend, and I hope you're through the it. You're right, getting old ain't for sissies.

Well, there was a stent (tube) from my bladder to my kidney inside the ureter for the last month. They put me to sleep and the surgeon went up through my you-know-what and pulled it out. I feel MUCH better. Thanks. I go back in 6 weeks to have a special xray that uses radioactive material to see if everything is flowing properly, if so, I'm good to go! ALL of this because of a stuck kidney stone back in the first week of May.
Sounds very painful Leighton, sorry you are going through this but hopefully with no long term consequence.
The rain was heavier than it appears in the images so I had to shoot one handed whilst holding an umbrella. It was worth it to get puddles and the ground glow.

Love everything about those Colin. The color, reflections, framing. Just great!
Echoing James and Georges comments above, Jay the turkey shots are great! Colin, these wet look images are wonderful. Great way to adapt to the conditions and be creative.

Wow Ben, I am not a street photog guy (too shy for that), but this is simply stunning!
By the way, I'm missing my annual trip to Italy, always spending at least 2-3 days in the eternal city
Olympus OM-D E-M1 MarkII + adapter + Nikkor 300mm f/4.5K ED non-IF, hand held, both at 1/800s, ISO 320 and 800 for respectively f/4.5 and f/8. 85% cropped (17/20MP).
Tachihara 4X5 in DC at night. Nikkor-W 135mm 5.6, Tri-X 320 developed in HC-110, dil. B. The exposure time needed a bit of reciprocity correction since it came out to 2s. I did two, 5s and 10s, and I don't know which one this sheet is.
Fantastic colors, nice blending. I wanted to know what lens you used so I look on Flicker. You have dust spot or a dust spot removal gone bad that is right in the middle of the tall dark building with small lettering.
This old truck is sitting in front of a local market. I photographed this a couple of nights ago using an AF lens, but went back tonight with the 55/3.5. The photo taken with the AF lens is sharper, but I like this one better in every way. They had a nice, bright floodlight shining on the back end of the truck, but the front end is poorly lit. I shined my headlights at the front and I think it did a pretty good job. The color temp of my headlights matched that of the floodlight pretty well.

Edit - having investigated, no idea what it is, a combination of shadows from the building next to it (the one with church like gables) and reflections but it's not a dust spot removal gone bad. This is the building with "Optus" sign at the top yes?, the right edge above the adjacent building with the yellow sign lower down?
