And as Laura has shown, it keeps interior vertical lines straight. And it does not seem to flare with strong defused lighting to the side like it does with a strong point light.
Also, for those interested this is with lens adapted to the Metabones Speed Booster and Z fc.
Hope to have some great Thanksgiving conversation in that room next week

Yeah, yeah Peter, they're great, but now that you've made me redundant what am I supposed to do? I'm already copying Philippe, now you're copying me copying Philippe, what does that leave me........
Ben
No worries, Ben, you're safe. My excursions into the MF world are minimal at best these days as I'm still learning the ins and outs of the D500 and the Z5 + (heresy) AF glass.
I'll paraphrase Joel Grimes' comment here - as an "artist" my camera is only a tool not the be all and end all

Maybe you can go in the opposite direction.
Gee, thanks Leighton, it's that simple is it?
Laura - I sold mine (years ago). I regret it now of course.
Peter - what does AF have to do with it, AF, MF, Nikon, Canon, Sony or Fuji my pics always come out the same. It's OK, I'm sure the photographic world is big enough for all of us..
Chuong - no, that's not the 20mm f3.5 UD, that has a strong blue/purple flare (although now in LR it would be easy to change that to the pinky orange hues of the 15mm).

Thanks for the clarification. I thought I was on to something...haha...not realizing that there are color differences in flares that belong to specific lenses.
btw, I love darkness and have no problem with your dark images. I get criticized all the time with my facebook posts to my families...I stopped posting there.

ha ha....yep.....there's a big orange circle at the end, and sometimes even at the start, but most of the flaring is blue/purple. It's very distinctive. George has done well to get a string of flares across the frame like that, when I had the 15mm I tended to get big flares but not all the way across. I guess it depends on the angle. The 20mm flares consistently, if you like that sort of thing, but I think I prefer the colour of the flares from the 15.
3rd time was the charm. Major QC issues on the first two. First one the aperture control was not even engaged with the aperture ring, second one the optics were in major misalignment. This one is good. I did do a fine tuning for infinity on the moon the other night. Easy to adjust on the Metabones and they even post a how to on their website. So good there.
