I became quite smitten with my 'new' processing tools. So far been experimenting with challenging high ISO adverse light theater shots, and found that the combination of LR and ON1 makes a huge improvement over using my old capture NXD.
Batch processing in NXD is excellent though, still have to figure out how to make a new process time efficient.
Again, elucidating to extract advice,
This will be the last old photo in a while, promise.
Nikkor 80-200mm 2.8 ais ED, this time at 4.0. 2.8 is nearly perfect for focus plane but glows in out of focus bright areas.
If interested go see the embroidery at Flickr 100%
LATE ADDITION: I did this process in my WQXGA (2560 x 1600) 17" LG Gram and it looked fine at 100%.
On my 4K display it looks a bit over sharpened, one must process for the intended output medium. I guess that is why I am an avid amateur, not a pro.

Nice photo Jack. I will have to show my wife. She was just saying this morning how early our Christmas cactus bloomed. It ended up being a Halloween cactus. Just hanging with blooms.
Yesterday I went to be there for my youngest final marching band performance. His
college is best known for it's music program, and it's Model UN program. Oddly, this event happened on a football field at a game - where most of the parents in attendance care nothing about football. My son has been making quite a mark as a percussionist, and performance artist. I always told my kids to march to their
own drum beat - so I was amused that one of the seven literally did that exact thing. Finding myself in the exact middle of the field flanking my son with his mother, and that the road there was because of his effort was wonderful. So I surreptitiously snapped a 9 image vertical pano of my view with the camera hanging off my shoulder. Still many concerts for the rest of the year in Jazz, Highland, Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra, etc, but I find it amazing that he is doing so well at the thing he loves.
5DS-R + Nikkor P.C. AI'd 55mm f3.5 Micro
Missed focus on these but tried to polish them a bit - my son is the red head playing the snare.

First picture is an exception for this thread. Don't do this often, but this was the only way I had today of showing how the 1000mm f11 Reflex-Nikkor was holding its own against all those AF super-telephotos at Conowingo Dam.

Nice work Samy!
I also see you could not resist the call of the Zfc either
Look for sales right about Thanksgiving, that's when I bought my stove, washer, and dryer. Also check out the S&D stuff at Lowes. I would stick with Kitchenaid or Whirlpool though, for appliances.

That’s a great idea. My current dishwasher is not a good one. I’ve been hand washing the dishes and then put them into the dishwasher for another round. I feel like what I am doing here is just getting another coat of soap
