Yamil, if you are done with your samples, I will keep them for you.
Kidding aside, without knowing you I have been a fan of your photos. Just beautiful composition, light, focal control, and subject.
Firearms, especially vintage collectibles, are difficult to capture with the aim of getting the correct tones of the wood and bluing. I surround my shots with artificial light and as seen in your Wilson 1911 focus is critical. I rarely use a flash unless I bounce it.
I use AF lenses and they are the 60mm D Micro 2.8 and the 70-180 ED 3.5/5.6. I use them in manual focus.
Will look for your work and photo credits!

I've been using the 85 PC=E Lens since 2009, I will NEVER go back!!!
I use flashes, Studio Strobes, actually, in this photo, there's SEVEN of them!! One in a Soft Box on top, for fill In, the rest are on Honey Combs putting highlights on the pistol.
I've been perfecting this style for the past 20 years, I'm still not there yet

Second one is really nice. Do you develop your own C-41?
Thanks Saph. No, I have a local lab do the developments. I've tried C-41 a number of times, but results were all over the place. I develop B&W, but I'll gladly leave C-41 to the pro's

Ric, fanstastic capture of Half Dome. I was going back and forth with what I got a couple years ago and I think yours is from a point of view a bit more to the left of where I was.
