July 4th. I came across this gentleman, who was blind, at a Vietnam War Memorial. He had a stereo playing a choir singing prayers, while he went from statue to statue, placing flags and flowers where he thought was appropriate. I watched him feel the statues to find the shape, where the hands were and the such.
It actually was a beautiful thing to behold and really touching.
I complimented him but he was in his space and I didn't want to disturb him further.
- Wimbledon pictures continue to amaze, Colin. You and the Z seem a great combination. I also liked the look of the spectators in IR.
- Great save on the little birds, Leighton.
- Samy, I like the pictures taken with the Leica. A great photo book could be made from your film pictures.
- Beautiful lotus picture, Pongh. I like it a lot.
Thinking of Andy. We haven't seen/heard from him in a while. He was travelling and sharing great images.
Thanks for remembering me mate ! I finished my trip in Perth and flew to Brisbane to stay with my daughter, shipping the bike. (I was pretty much over it by the time I arrived in Perth tbh.)
I'll post an update of where I am and what's happening with me later.
I take it you had a severe case of sore buns at the end of the trip? Good to see you are done with it, and can't wait to see the shots you have since your last set.

It is my humble opinion that the Df may become a digital classic and as sought after as the Noct 58. For over 10 years of digital, there was nothing like it. A further ten years on, there will likely be no mirrorless equivalent of it.

Haha, I certainly had plenty of sore bits, mainly due to my camping mat getting a hole so spent most of the last month sleeping on the ground ! Amazingly my body did get used to it.
It was actually more the divorce, loneliness and the Black Dog
I checked my previous posts and here are some more from Silverton. The new Mad Max film is to be filmed here too.
Lovely warm tones Andy.
It is great to see you contributing again.
I'll bet you have stack of images to share - I am looking forward to seeing them.
Cheers,
Colin

Inspired by Rafael's sunset silhouette. Taken throught the window of the car (extra dirt spots and flare) with the 105 f2.5 Ais.
Thank for looking.
