Happy 4th of July to all the Americans. Enjoy!

A few more from Grass Island including some of it's inhabitants They have these nice sheltered seats around the island but you can never sit there and enjoy the ocean view as the cows have made them their own.

Bronica EC-TL, 50/2.8 O.C. & 75/2.8 H.C. (Portra 400). These are all 4 shot stitches which seems to be about the happy medium for my setup. Around 7,500px x 7,500px.

I can't complain with the res I'm getting from these lenses. This is a 100% corner crop from the first image. A ginormous neg helps as well Full size original on Flickr here ... https://www.flickr.com/photos/deang001/51290657413/sizes/o/

Looks like the biggest difference is the 2.8 having 7 aperture blades to the 3.5's 6, and the 2.8 having CRC.

Didn’t have to Leighton. As soon as they heard the sound of Bronica’s shutter they all ran into the sea.

Yeah, this one seems to subscribe to the "less is more" principle.

Wonder if anyone tried the Bronica at a concert (not a rock concert ).

The Aires Automat on the other hand is the other extreme, no sound at all from the shutter. Can't really tell if I took a picture or not just from the sound. This camera was also tuned up recently at the local repair shop, and came back with its shutter speed and aperture controls a whole lot smoother.

Colin, Nick's action shot is great, I like the use of the 105 here, he is completely in focus and the spectators are blurred out just enough, but not too much.

Rafael, enjoyed the night time scenes with the 5cm f2 S. This one must be the 6 blade version.

That and and extra lens. I also noticed that Nikon increased the focus throw 10 degrees which always helps with focusing macro.

Outstanding tennis match picture up there. The moment is just right, and the size as posted here is great for appreciating it.

I had the afternoon off today and couldn't resist wandering about the garden in search of some unshot angles.

Hey folks. Great shots over the last few days. Belated happy 4th to the US crew.

Not much camera time here. Just started a big kitchen cabinet project (strip and paint) that will be taking up much of my spare time the next few weeks. But DIY = money saved for more gear
