Hey Guys! Happy holidays to the MFNG crew.. I missed y'all!
Even though I moved to Leica land, I couldn't resist MFNG. I found a W-Nikkor 3.5cm LTM that was made in 1952 and it works great on an M10! This thing is older than my dad!
It's a great lens, very sharp with nice rendering. However, it's a PITA to use! The infinity lock would engage and you'd have to press it to start MF'ing again.
This is a very strong photo Peter. I love it, and the edit is spot on too.
Sending some seasonal greetings to you al.
With a 4 year old, Christmas is that time of the year where you have to move all concerns about the big picture aside and focus on the essentials. Telling a tale to your child, about generousity and kindness. About people undertaking journeys to lend strength to an idea. And a little about presents as well.

Thanks Buddy - I've never been one for PS manipulationbut I liked the expression on her face and tried playing with selections, layers etc. A bit of fun for an hour and a half!
Happy Christmas to you and to all our friends here on FM. Stay safe everybody and lets see what the New year brings.

I like the colours and crispness of your shots, Serge, especially the last one.
Thanks on the garden feedback. Will pass the kudos to my finest. She plants and tends to it, I shoot and sponsor its upkeep. Win win I say. She does think cameras are big liars though , because I shoot the tiniest of flowers and make it look like a giant.
Thank you, Siphiwe. Glad you liked them.
Your wife has done a grand job with the garden. She is right, lenses can certainly distort reality. The biggest liar I have is the 16/3.5.
Joseph, congrats on the little LTM gift for your Leica M10!! You can be in many lands, but still have a foot on this thread

Chuong, marvelous example of the 800 tele for astronomy. I have to try the 500 with the TCs. I have been trying to resolve Saturn and its rings with the 500 F4P but I am at the limits of what I can get.
