The umbrellas are the highlight there. Dean did you go for the lab box and monobath? This last pic I tried out "pulling" the Tri-x negative after dumbly overexposing it by 2 stops. The monobath held well around 68F with the help of some added ice cubes

Which pic are you referring to?
No, I haven’t yet bought the Lab-Box yet. Shops actually stock them here along with their chems which is great. I’ve been watching a few videos and reading up on it. It’s very simple compared to what I used to do before. So simple, I keep looking for negative reviews and some sort of “gotcha” but can’t find any. It’s quite amazing. 1 roll at a time is a bit of a downer though.
I shot some fake B&W on Saturday (XP2 400) It’s pretty good actually. I also shot a roll of Tri-X as well that’s sent off for developing. I reckon when the negs come back full of scratches that my V-ED can’t take care of, I’ll probably buy the lab-box
Very cool building indeed. I love NYC. Was there last year again for an week. I could easily live there. It’s a bit slow compared to HK but still pretty lively

Dean it is a great and beautiful city but unfortunately, not so energetic these days. Prior to early March, it was certainly active enough for most mortals.

The sun clock points to positive aspects of life: health, fertility, peace..... as a symbol of the council of people at city hall. When I passed by it was pointing at happiness.

Today was my last market as manager after 15 years. Next week, I get to sleep in!
Here's a little video I put together for the market. Most of the images were taken with Nikon MF lenses.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
Such a nice video, so many excellent shots! Guess it's both a relief and sadness at the same time.
Well, now you'll have more time to take lots of photos! Great work Leighton.
Dean, here's the experiment with pulling the negative. I am still confused about the terms, but that's what it said on the CineStill instructions. This is Tri-X off by 2 stops, and then used colder temp (65F? 68F? with a somewhat longer development time). Seemed to rescue the negative just fine.
And now a somewhat rare success with E-6 development, same scene with Fuji Velvia 100, developed in Tetenal E-6 kit. Same camera/lens: Linhof Master Technika and Nikkor-SW 90 f8.
I am pleased to report that the 50/2 HC does IR pretty well.
Not much to choose between the H and HC.
I was expecting the extra coatings on the HC version to affect the D7100 IR image in a detrimental way but if anything this HC version might be a little sharper than the H in the corners.
Both images processed in LR and then into SEP. Might have overdone the last one.
