Great re-introduction, Steve! Looking forward to more of your images and insights.

Here are a few more shots with the Nikkor 35/2.8 PC on Sony a7R4 from yesterday.
I felt remorse at not using "all Nikon", so I broke out my 800e and charged its battery after I got back yesterday. So, some Nikon-on-Nikon shots to follow soon, hopefully.
I cross-posted these shots on the Sony forum, so there is some cross-pollination occurring.
These were shot with Sigma MC-11 AF adapter, which seems to have introduced more field curvature than the previous shots with the Commlite AF adapter. This is really why I am now trying the 800e -- to see how much field curvature the lens has using the original mounting and flange surfaces.
Got a new puppy and a new 35mm F/2 - thanks Doug for the deal on the lens. Havent had much time to take photos because been running after the pup. Here is one with the D200 and the 35mm

I finally broke out my old D800e to try with the newly acquired 35/2.8 PC AIS. Looks like center to edge has much less curvature of field and better overall sharpness than using with either Commlite, Sigma, or Canon AF adapters on mirrorless Canon and Sony bodies.
The trouble is trying to accurate focus through the pentaprism viewfinder. I'm so spoiled now by electronic viewfinder with sharpness and exposure in the viewfinder with magnification. It's still a little early for me to spring for a Nikon mirrorless when my next choice is the Canon R5 down the line. I'll keep trying the D800e for a while to see how it does.
f-stop is wrong -- couldn't figure how to change the readout from 300mm and f/4.5. Actually shot at f8-11 with the 35 PC lens, so a few more things to learn about AIS lenses on this body. Since there is no linkage between the lens and body, I'll have to manually enter the aperture, if I can find that setting.
So I am happy with the 20mm 2.8 ais and will go somewhere to use it this weekend, yet a good copy of the 20mm 3.5 UD is an excellent lens, particularly if you want an older look to your photos.
A while back we went to the Hacienda for dinner. Took the San Diego Diligencia and kept it in the barn with the horses.
Testing the Nikon Wireless mobile utility as a remote. It works but need to do a wifi connection after focusing. Same with Nikon Snapbridge, this latter one will not connect to the Z6 in Buetooth, only wifi, will research.
800mm 5.6*TC-300*TC-1 = 2,240mm, no cropping, forgot to turn off IBIS, I would rather not have stabilization.
anitrone, congrats on the great looking new friend. Nice photo!
A couple of the barge used for SFPD headquarters during the 1990s TV series "Nash Bridges" which just got around to tweaking. Great to be a able to do some fishing during office hours.
This is Manor House on the Glenelg Country School campus. The original building was built nearly 3 centuries ago. The structure we see now is significantly different, the architecture transformed after the owner came back from a visit to Glenelg, Scotland in the 1840s.
Leighton - echoing what Serge said.
It must have been quite difficult and emotional to select images from the many hundreds you have.
A very well constructed video.
Wow. Leighton. Fifteen years. What a wonderful ride. You must be so very proud, happy, sad and glad all at the same time.
Thank you so much for all you do in your community and here. I am sure you will never really know how really appreciated you are both at the market and here!!!! The video was just perfect! Congratulations and enjoy the sleep in next weekend, then get back "snapping".
Hugs and best wishes!
Mary
