I'd no sooner posted this than our old friend the Knysna Turaco pitched up for some of our wild fig tree fruit. Ingrid cut up some pawpaw and he flew in to have his fill. I grabbed my camera - still set up as above- and had to back into the lounge to get his head and shoulders..
Cylburn Mansion in Baltimore. Linhof Master Technika, Nikkor-W 135mm f5.6 and TMax 100 developed in CineStill Df96. The Df96 solution has turned yellowish, clearly past its prime. Tried to run it through a coffee filter before using but the results are still grimy.

That's the most vintage-looking picture you have posted yet, saph. Without the story, it looks like you just scanned an old picture.
Happy Birthday to this awesome thread that just keeps on rocking.
Peter, great photos specially of the Turaco.
Rafael, great vintage look to the work vehicles. The old stuff is a heck of a lot easier to maintain than the new.
On this special day, decided to post a couple from our favorite city to visit. These are from November last year taken with my two travel buddy MF lenses.

Indeed, great picture of the Turaco, Oom Oosty.
Serge, lovely picture of your favourite city, nicely lit.
Jim, very clean work with the PC lens. Reminds me of Jay. Where is Jay?
Rafael, great demonstration of the qualities of your pristine condition lenses.
Here's my little patch of the garden. It grows in size maybe once a year, and then I live it alone. When I do that it doesn't take long for my finest to sneak in her favourite flowers in there. Apparently mine are boring and need some colour(pansies, poppies, not mine). I just don't want to have to take care of it too much so I seek hardy succulents that thrive without much watering. I prefer to take pictures instead.
Really happy to be part of this thread. Great bunch of people sharing their love of these great lenses.
Well done Curtis. You've made a lot of people happy with this thread
And speaking of great lenses, my Nikkor-O Auto 35/2 came back from Ai conversion surgery during the week so I took it out for a spin today. F3 HP & Kodak Ultramax 400. I think this is my new favourite It renders so beautifully.

You should go out and shoot as much as you can and develop them with the yellow Df96 solution... the shot looks sensational.
I have the Lab Box and Df96 solution in my shopping cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Soon.
Oh my, I have been lurking for a few months and totally forgot this is the big anniversary! Wishing all a very special day and lots of love and appreciation for everyone making this place so special! You all are awesome!!!!! I owe about 1000 likes and I promise I will get cracking!
Dean, I really enjoy the film photos. Seeing them makes me appreciate why some people still enjoy film. To me, they actually look better than the same lenses on digital. Your subject matter also helps a lot in making them authentic and period-correct.
