Both. I have the Fujifilm S3 UV/IR, Fujifilm IS Pro, and up til last week a 5D MKII converted to Full spectrum. The shutter is now damaged. I will shortly have a 5Ds converted to full spectrum. I can also shoot UV with my Leica Monochrom.
One of the high expenses is getting a filter that passes only UV. Many of the filters allow a small amount of IR. Many of us use a telescope filter Baeder that doesn't allow IR through. Others with stack filters eliminating and IR bump.
UV has it's expensive dedicated lenses, but there are many lenses that go into UV at varying wavelengths. Some further than others. Some great site for further information are

Vivek is another good resource he shoots Sony's modified to full spectrum and likes the Voigtlander 50 APO.
Linhof Master Technika, Nikkor-SW 90 f8 and TMax 100. Cinestill Df96 monobath for development
The Orangery at the Hamption National Historic site in Towson. The original structure was built in 1820, but it burned down around 1920. The structure above is a replica, constructed in 1976. The Library of Congress has an archived large format photo of the ruins of the original conservatory, maybe taken in the 1930s. https://www.loc.gov/resource/hhh.md0481.photos

Some CineStill 800T from last night. F100 & 55/1.2 S.C. Had a few slow shutter speed issues as no one was interested in lugging the tripod around for me. I should have asked George
If I could ever come over your way would be glad to shlep the tripod
Great pictures Dean. Love the colors and I really like the composition of the last one with the taxis!
Once in a while I find something interesting in the Miranda buy and sell, need some advice: how do I know I can trust the seller? I know to use regular PayPal to pay or a premium credit card.

Rafael - I have bought a few things here and have not had any issues. I go by the Feedback ratings and always use regular PayPal. If the posted item states "net to me" I immediately move on. Not that it is higher risk, but goes against Fred's recommendations.
If someone has a low number of Feedback reviews, see if they have eBay ratings.
I also take into account how active they are on the Forums. If they only have a few postings, I may do some more digging.
Loving the comet photos. I went to my "dark sky" location in southern Virginia last night, but the clouds and rain rolled in and it was a complete washout.
Will try again next Friday if I can't get out during the week here.
Posting this from where I wanted to shoot. 105mm f/1.8 @ 1.8
Leighton got to love the market customer in bokeh. Fantastic shot.!
George your sky is an exact match to the one over us in Florida a few minutes ago.
Here is an offering from Luray Caverns in the hills of Virginia. Got to say was a little un-nerved for a couple of reasons. The first is families with kids turned up in droves and the mom and pop all staked within the six foot distancing the Cave operators asked but the kids, well … they free ranged running back and forth. Silly people!
The cave was very humid and while wearing a mask I had big time trouble using the focus peaking in the low light. About a 1/4 of the way thru I switched to using the optical viewfinder and found it easier.
Here is a reflection pool that they applied lighting too. Also used the cheap Nikon 400 flash. It was a day for experiments. All shot with the NOCT.

This is nice cavern, been there a few times. The next time you're in the area, go in the cavern at Natural Bridge. It's the deepest one on the East coast and it's not been commercialized. Walking through it, you feel like you just discovered it. Once you reach the bottom, they turn the lights out, WOW, what a sensation!

Looking great Leighton. I remember reading these focal reducers actually make the lens sharper. Do you find f/1.2 is better on it? Any difference?
Thanks, and thanks for the inspiration. When I used the adapter for the first time, I immediately noticed how much better it made the lens (28mm f2.8 AIS) once I had the image on the computer. So far, I've seen the same thing with each lens. I'm not sure about shooting at 1.2 as I hardly ever used that in the past just because it wasn't really sharp. I think I'll experiment some with that this Saturday.
