Nice set, That last one reminds me of one of Ronny Olsen's images.
Thanks Leighton, Ronny got a lot of shots like this. Haven't seen him here for a while. He must be out and about with his gear shooting some good stuff...
So to tell the whole story I decided to test the two 10.5cm against the 105mm ais (all 2.5) and guess what?
My slightly less pretty 10.5 cm 2.5 LTM is softer in the right side, noticeably so. Nothing that will make me stop using it, but good to be aware of.
The real pretty 10.5cm LTM is sharp across the frame, even so the 105mm 2.5 ais wins the sharpness and bokeh (no sample photo) contest.
None of this mattter for a good photograph mind you, just something to do while at home. AS you focus them closer the 10.5cm get better. Go looka t them 100% magnification on flickr if you have time to waste.
Chin, the wings are brilliant! If there's a prize for creativity your boy might just win it. Perhaps you can add some sauce to it as the days wear on.
Glad you liked the pseudo IR shot Kristian. I doubt I would ever convert something over to IR, though I think I've seen some really older D70 conversions that may be fun to play with at a somewhat lower cost.
The old lenses really do look the part on cameras with old school dials, such as the Df and even the Fuji's. I do agree, however, that while functional the mount converters do look a little bit out of place, though with some of the beat up lenses I have who am I to speak about appearances. I even shot with an odd combo today, the Nikon 180 f2.8 AIS on an Olympus E-M5ii. Quite a size mismatch but worked out OK to get me an effective 360mm.

The 85mm beast looks good on that Fuji! Thanks for the info on the adaptor, I just ordered one.
I’ve been using the Lens Turbo II since they were released. I got one for a very good price (mismarked ad, almost looked like a scam listing. If the seller hadn’t had such good feedback, would have skipped it. I through a lowball offer that was accepted). I really like it. I posted a Google Sheet a while back with all the Lens conversion data and what to set the camera to so the internal JPG engine works properly.
Excellent pics on this page! Colin, I want to try out IR on film, but first I need to get through the various struggles in film development first. I wonder if my orange #21 filter will do the job.
George, apt example with F2AS and the Noct! Was that with the Cinestill monobath? And the lab-box? Its very clean.
