I still don't understand people who complain about too much depth of field with m43. If anything, I find my self stopping down in order to achieve enough depth of field.
One cropped and one even more cropped version of the same shot. First version probably removed about 40% of the pixels, just a hint of the distance to the coot (It is a coot, isn't it?)
Panasonic G9 + Animal detect AF.
And yes, I could very well have dialed down the ISO some there, it wasn't moving very fast so didn't need the fast shutter speed.
Tony thank you for including shooting data. Question were you hand holding at 1/30 , 1/45 second? You were fortunate that the hummer was not moving for motion blur. You have good technique and helps to have Olympus with a fine image stabilization system.

You're welcome. Some were handheld and some were on a tripod. Unfortunately, I don't recall which, and exif does not show that. I was trying Pro Capture on some of them, and it is easier doing that with the tripod.
