The don't hire 'the best', they hire who is known and trusted inside the circle.
It's NOT about killer photos. If it was do you think you've have a photographer in the balcony in the photo, the photographer on his crouching at the last row?
Known and trusted is #1,2&3...right up to the end.
I literally just got home from a wedding 20 minutes down the road from the Clinton party... I had to go the long way around because the entire street was barricaded and the security was nuts.
Looks like it was Barbara Kinney, she has the photo credit on People.com and by the looks of her website, she covered the Clinton's White House Years and Hil's presidential bid.
I was second shooting in Tarry Town at Castle on the hudson last night and Vera Wang walked right past me. I must have been close I should still be sleeping
Wonder how many weddings Kinney has photographed?
I was wondering if the photos on the news were done by paparazzi or the official photographer...they seemed fairly soft/fuzzy...
yep on the personal photog (Barbara Kinney). Looks like she did a lot of traveling with Mrs Clinton.

Looking at the photo, I think that's "Slick Willie" walking is daughter down the aisle.
I am sure there were a number of photographers. Makes you wonder when you get to these "blockbuster" weddings if you simply hire the best-of-the-best or do they hire en masse?

as mentioned earlier ... its all about feeling safe / inner circle.
don't want any - so called 'poor' taste pictures getting out.
The last two look like she was 2nd shooting... weird.
Very interesting...if you look at this link to MSNBC...the first picture is credited to Genevieve...yet the same picture in your link is credited to Barbara.
