I would like the idea of a digital M with a flip-out rear backplate. One side is the regular M240 back with LCD and buttons, flip it around and it only shows the ISO dial. That would be nice?

Joe, patent it, sell to leica, or trade them for a 28lux
I always have S dream, but their lens speed doesn't grab me. Shooting M is faster for me than any other system for most time, so I won't leave.
I stopped posting on this forum for almost two years now since I sold m8.2 (but kept all the lens.)
I was planning to get m240 when it was announced but it wasn't available for awhile and I've been crazy busy with work..
Time went by and now I'm back to this forum.
I hesitated between m9 and m240.. and somehow I went out of control last week (my wife is out of country for work) and pulled the trigger on the new m-p.
I regret a bit since this camera is over priced to me.. BUT worth it.. lol
I haven't done 'real' shooting with it but I grabbed some shots at my co-workers.
(the exif might show d7100 since I use the same photoshop file I made for d7100)

I had been vacant for a week or so but just to say some beautiful images have been posted in here!
I just did a stress test for flare with the CV 35/1.4 using liveview/reviewing/testing (like any sensible person would do). And the results were actually surprisingly good and easy to manage. It turns out the huge looping flare I had was only possible in some very specific circumstances; when the sun is just out of frame and when the lens is at only f1.4. If fully in the frame, you'll just loose some contrast but won't have any looping flare in there. If just out of frame and getting the "loop" at 1.4, even just going half a stop down removes it. So really easy to manage now that I know what circumstances were causing it
I'm gonna take the liberty to post two film photos in this thread to celebrate that I've finally bought a scanner So now there is a new workflow to learn with the scanner and its software and then PS, well we have long winters here in Sweden so there will be plenty of time for it.
