Edward, you're going to be sad.....
This is the latest news I got from Zeiss regarding the supposed new ZM lens:
Hi Adam,
Unfortunately we have to tell you that due to many other developments this year, we had to postpone any new ZM lens to an uncertain later date. We hope for your understanding and assure you that we will inform you as soon as there are any news on this topic.
Please don't hesitate to contact us directly on our Carl Zeiss Lenses page if you have any further questions concerning ZEISS camera lenses.
Best regards,
Your ZEISS Lenses Team
So that kinda sucks, but it was expected.. Although I was holding out hope that they'd release one at the end of 2013.
That sucks that there will be no new ZM lenses this year. Was hoping that they would release a faster 35mm lens. Postpone to a later date i guess is a euphemism for indefinitely.
To echo what others have said, great shots. I'm glad that this thread moves fast because it just means i get to enjoy more pictures.

Indeed it was expected since Zeiss announced the new MF line for the E FF mount. I think there is a limit to how many projects they can juggle in the same time.

Charles how do you like the cron rigid? I have been looking for one, but still on the fence post, price seem to vary greatly
Phil
The 50 Cron Rigid I and II DR are amazing lenses. Although the Rigid with and without the Dual Range are identical optically, I am really enjoying the DR. I have mentioned before, that the DR is sold brass, beautifully engineered, and works amazingly well. The rendering is great! I have since seen samples by Ashwin Rao, with 50 Cron AA and the Cron Rigid, with sharpness wise in the portraits and landscapes, it was very hard to pick the difference, other than the local contrast. This is easily adjusted in PP'ing if needed. Basically it is a lens, where the highlights are rarely burnt, contrast is almost a pastel, but with incredible detail. It is one of my favourite lenses now, as it is very light, and with the increased ISO capability with the M240, the f/2.0 is no issue. The DR now having been modified, allows direct access to Macro range in LV. There is no other M lens for now that has this ability.
