I use Lightroom graduated filters! I still have trouble with the color shift as evidenced on the second shot. I can likely fix that if I decide to print it.
OK that works. I thought either bracketing and then merging exposures in PS or an HDR plugin, or using some type of physical graduated ND filter contraption.
I too picked up a CV 15mm just a couple of days ago from FM buy/sell, since its so reasonably priced. I enjoy the wide angle view a lot but I am finding, in post processing, that keeper compositions are few and far between even though I am being careful with framing. Not sure if its a shortcoming of the CV viewfinder or just a factor of the 15mm FOV.
I wonder how much better an 18mm SEM would be ... compared to CV15.
Great pictures everyone. I have not been active here for awhile and ive got a lot of pages to go thru.
Katie, i use LR5 for post processing but use iphoto for slide show creation. If you are a mac user, iphoto is the simplest and best slide show maker. You then save it to any video format so you can play it anywhere. Get a projector with at least 1024x768 or higher with at least 2500 lumens or a decent projection.
I cleaned up the main page of my gallery, and added two collections for color and black and white fall images. Well, the BW is really small, but you can find them easily on the main page if you are interested in a tour. Just click my Zen icon in my left user ID under my how do you like them apples Avatar. Click it at any time. thanks.
Adam, I tend to travel only with the Domke bag/s, so as to not attract too much attention. If they don't fit in my bag/s, I leave some of my lenses at home Looking at your options, I would go for 2. Keep it simple, unless you have a specific need to take certain FL's.
Regarding Nik Software via Google, I have also had problems. I have reloaded the software and it appears fine. With SEP II I was having issues opening up in Lr, but no problems in CS6. I was starting to question whether it was the video card in my PC. I have had a IT tech already check the computer for this.
Paul, great to see you back again! Very nice. Wonderful colours with the Rigid
Allen, superb shots!!! Love the tonality, but most of all the compositions.
Fred, nice mood and compositions!
Rocky, amazing set of images! Love them all
Katie, very nice! I am so impressed with the CV 35/1.2 Sorry no experience with projectors, just the printing side.
Jawad, really nice!! Very nice abstract set too
Phil, great wedding series!
Edward, awesome shots with the ZM 85!!! I loving the change of perspective in your shots with ZM 85 and 25.
Hi Folks, its been a crazy summer for me. I have been looking in on the tread, and there lots of great images! A few images from a spring trip to London and Paphos.
I am using a cheap chinese adapter, and I am patiently waiting for Leica to get their Production ramped up… It is not perfect with my adapter, but I have a feeling that it will be very good with the proper adapter. My particular lens was recently verified/serviced by Leica, and it is perfect on my 5d3.

Indeed, this is probably the best image thread on FM alt forum! Fantastic and inspiring work from everyone.
Adam and Charles, thanks for your comments and everyone else for the likes. I greatly appreciated. Sorry for not commenting on images individually, but I really lost track since my last comments This thread moves so fast!
Phil, the masked men are members of an anti-government political group. My photos yesterday were all taken at this political rally.
I do like an active thread for images, chatter, and all. I haven't been real active this year myself. Trying to get a bit more active with my hobby though! At least I did some fall images in mountains. :-) It's not all that I would have hoped for image wise, but I got a few keepers, sometimes, that's enough.
things were never the same on Earth after the sky was scorched.
Great stuff Allen, Phil, and Andrew! Andrew - looks like you have the PP just perfect now with the M240. Very nice.... I would love a 135APO but just don't think I would use that FL much.
