jamgolf, congrats on the 75 Lux
Charles, three great photos. My favorite is the first one with the surfers, great colors!
Michael, also great colors but in quite a different way. Cool starburst too.
Joe, that macro lens seems to render very nicely.
Katie, great set! Favorite is the second from last.
Adam, great you got so many keepers. From your selection I like #5 the most.
Here is an attempt at autumn colors in b&w. M9 with 50 Lux.

I think it helped that I wasn't into the music, so I was deleting as I went (as in I had a lot of time to fiddle with the camera because I wasn't dancing). You kinda have to do that with the Noctilux though, as it's really easy to miss focus in the slightest bit, and have it completely look ridiculous. Although there were a few that were out, but still looked good. And also the lighting was strobing as well, so a lot of blown out shots etc to weed as the night went on.. But all in all, quite a lot of photos for the first real outing with the lens, I'm shocked at how much better the M240 is at focusing..
I like the treatment you gave the image. Nice autumn colors BTW
So far the best thing about M9 (to me) is the color fidelity and richness that I've been able to get with 75lux and 28cron.
Learning to use Summilux 75mm...
Shot in low light testing out the limits of the M240. With Lr and Nik Define 2.0, 5000 and 6400 are very useable. The Leica M9 and M240, do not have much processing exiting with the RAW file, so using Nik Define 2.0 to both the M9 and M240 is very good.
Taken last night at 5000 ISO, at f/1.4 and 1/90s. M240 and 75 Lux. Using Lr and Nik Define 2.0. No noise reduction in Lr or Define 2.0, just debanding vertical since the shot is in portrait mode.
Thank you very much Jam My fiancee was not thrilled at first, as she did not have any makeup!!
Using the M9 at 2500 ISO is also very good, with the right PP'ing techniques. I just used the ISO setting, as I wished to preview the image in the street. There are many here that set the ISO at 640, and then push in PP'ing. The image when you preview on the LCD will look horrid, but wait until you downloaded in Lr/CS before you have made a final decision.
Here is a shot from last week... I did not get the deep red sky that typically comes this time of year at sunrise but I will return. I need some nice clouds right when the sun is peaking.... Ryan was complaining about me using the 21SEM so much so I used the 35cron asph for this shot.
As always, great work everyone. I have been busy with the infant, but got to take some pics the other day. Used the MM with 21 Skopar or 75 Lux, I had the the M240 also but stayed in the bag - I like shooting with the MM more...
onaujee - without reading your description, I was about to comment on how amazing these black and whites are. My favorites are #'s 2,4,5,6! Hahaha, tempted to get a MM, but just can't justify the price
I've had the M240 for almost a month, but between work and weather I haven't had a lot of chances to use it. I ran out a lunch today to try a few shots with wider lenses, since I'm not sure how what I have will work. First up the Leica Summilux 35/1.4 ASPH (non-FLE),
