Mike - how many bodies do you carry with you? Are you constantly changing lenses? Just curious how you roll...
Just one. And a LOT of sensor cleaners. Although if anyone would like to donate a second M9 I'm sure I could put it to use! I also typically have a Fuji X-E1 on me as backup, but the only use that sees is out sound guy using it as his travel camera. Haha. I also bring my Nikon kit to the bigger events where I know I'll need longer than 75mm or higher than 2500 ISO.
Doug - impressive scenery!
Andrew - Beautiful work. I will let you know when the bracket arrives - it is still in transit to me.
Mike - thanks for answering my questions. I suppose I need to be more brave in changing lenses on the fly. I find myself sticking with a lens when I should really change it - for fear of exposing the sensor.
Ryan - I got the version I of the 35 1.2. I really blame/thank YOU for my whole transition to Leica in the first place. I had been eyeing it for over a year, thinking I would just get an M8; but when I *almost* pulled the trigger on your CV 21 1.8 (which I still lust after) I decided to just dive right in head first and go M9 and sell out on everything else. I know the CV lenses well (I also shoot an R4A and R3A) and already had several, but looking at your images made me pull the trigger on both the 35 and 50 1.5.
OH -almost forgot. As for the bag, I got this one: http://goincase.com/shop/incase-ari-marcopoulos-camera-bag-cl58033
So far, I really really like it. It's a sling (which I prefer over a full backpack) and you have a quick release to loosen the strap to slide it around to the front; where it sits upright and you can quickly grab your camera/lens/whatever out of the zipper. Really convenient. It also looks great.
Nice Katie. I went a bit of a different route for my bag that I use for my MM. I put in some foam from an old pelican case that I don't use.

Gary - that shot has a very 3D look to it to me. Very sharp...great colors
Thanks Ryan! I am actually attempting to learn how to develop a PS action for resizing/step sharpening for web. I know virtually nothing about PS but managed to set up an action using a few FM members (Denoir & Phillip Reeve) settings as a starting point. I had to change quite a few of the settings due to the fact I am using an M240. This was the first image I have tried it out on... I already notice a big difference between my standard LR export and using PS. Your MM images look great.
Katie - Ryan is a really bad influence WRT gear purchases....
Thanks for all the comments and 'like's. I appreciate.
Andrew, I enjoy the set from Beijing, somehow, it is not like somewhere from memory about Beijing. where are those building, modern car, shopping center, restaurant etc...and foggy weather
Ryan, another nice BW set!
3D, I love those shots, your composition is great on all of them. Did you apply selective ND filter to modified WB, it seems blue a little bit stronger/darker than my like at top half the images.
Here are several 50lux shots from Hawaii, should be WO at f1.4. Vacation to me is I can truly take my time enjoy the process: taking pics
Some great shots.. I just got back from Sydney/Queenstown, for those of you who didn't know. I planned to fly to Sydney and then drive down and up the coast, but at the last minute I decided to go skiing instead. So from Sydney I flew to NZ and went to Queenstown for some skiing. I took a lot of photos in South Island NZ, and then some images in the few days I was in Sydney.
I love Sydney, so I'm definitely going back. And Charles, next time around I'll have time to meet for a coffee!
The 50APO was great, I really do like it.. I tend to shoot mostly at the min focusing distance, but throughout my trip I took some half body, full body, and some shots from 15-30ft away, and I find that this lens really does a good job at all distances.. I'm thinking however, either my M240 is having problems with infinity focus, or my 50APO and 21SEM is having issues.. But again, I never shoot landscapes, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. Oh, and the 21SEM is exactly what I was looking for, it works like the 28elmarit-asph that I love, but sold in favor of the 28cron.
I'm actually having some problems editing the landscape images, since I never really take them, I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit them to my liking.. And since I'm about to fly off again, I figured I'd just post some more horse images from a series of shots I took a while back. And then when I got back from L.A. I'd try to figure out how to better edit landscapes, and then will get some up from the trip.
Anyway, a few more horse shots with the 50APO wide open:
Adam - sounds like a wonderful trip! And I remember your previous horse shots. Man I love horses. I also like your B&Ws.
Zhangyue - one day I will have my color editing down as well as you. Superb.
Stopped at a small antique show today with my wild kids. Shooting with them is .... interesting.
KatieInTexas - I like the second photo. And yes, I love horses as well.
Gary - The first photo is fantastic, way to keep the horse theme going
On the topic of bags. Anyone else find a good small rangefinder bag, maybe for 1 lens, or up to 3-4 lenses?
At one point in time I was thinking of getting the wotancraft paratrooper.
Thanks Adam - I like your horse series as well. The bag I usually use for shorter outings is the Crumpler Three Million Dollar Home. It is very small though - only room for the body/lens + another second lens. If you are using larger FL lenses, you may only fit the body/lens. That paratrooper looks pretty swanky though...

Awesome thread.. trying to keep me away from here.. can be tempted to change gear : D
Great shot's everyone!
Well Ronny, it didn't work for me (staying away that is...)
@adamdewilde - I use a Lowepro Event Messenger 150 sling bag that only costs $60 here. I bought one for a daughter to use as an SLR bag with room for maybe 1-2 more lenses. For RF use it has room for my M6, M8 (now replacing that by an M9 when repaired) or Sony 5N and about 5 lenses.
