Edwin very nice shot! is that Batanes in the BG?
Phil
Phil, that is Cebu island. This was taken on my way back to Cebu from Dumaguete. This is Central Visayas area. Batanes is on my bucket list...haven't been there. The farthest i've been to in the North of the archipelago is Pagudpod
The Fiskar isn't mine, I drive a station wagon The same guy has 2 Bentley's, one for summer and one for winter.
Took the M240 to the zoo with the 90AA. EVF is great as long as it's a stationary target you're photographing, otherwise the good old RF is hard to beat.
Very nice Ryan, Phil, Allen, and Edwin. Edwin - Pagupud is at the North tip of Luzon - correct? I skipped over that part and went way north to Bagio and up to Banaue...
Here is one of my son at the Calgary Lilac Festival yesterday trying on hats. It's pretty fun using my lenses on FF now - they render so much differently. I think the 35cron will now be one of the lenses I use much more often.
Here's a 100% crop of the Penguin shot, which was ISO5000.
Minimal LR noise reduction (click on link and go to original to get the 100%, didn't realize it was 2000 pix across until I had already uploaded them):
Great shots guys. so many pg past just over a long weekend here.
Get my M9 back, 50lux is still with Leica. Tried my 35 and 50cron with it. Under first evaluation, 50cron still need slightly manual compensation, which is expected for film lens. it(M9) looks great with new skin
Allen, Phil, Edwin, thank you so much dear friends!
Allen, the flower shot is indeed not your usual style. Beautifully done, and the tonality is great.
Phil, the last set is absolutely fantastic. Love both shots!
Edwin, that's a very nice set. I love the documentary style, dramatic sky, the cool color cast, 3D.
Ryan, excellent images there. My favorites are 1, 2 and 6.
Gary, love the colors and composition of your son's photo. You captured the expression very well too.
Zhangyue, beautiful electric blue sky in the first shot. Outstanding!
Edward, really enjoy your photos from Thailand. Planar is such a great lens. Though I know it is not the lens make photo works.
Ash, #2 is great portrait.
Here is one from yesterday.
M9 with 50cron at MFD. I mess around with PP a little to suit the mood yesterday. He caught a cold during weekend. hence in stroller, and not as active as normal
Thank you Allen and Zhangyue! Let's say I was in an interesting area last Sunday. A lot of photo opportunities.
Zhangyue, that's a cool shot of your son. I never have the courage to do the kind of PP that you do, I'm always trying to stick to neutral balance, but it seems to always work for you. Hope your son gets better soon.
