Hey Phil. No filters used but I did pull back the highlights slider 10 points or so.... I am finding the M240 is better at highlight recovery than brightening underexposed areas. I think this is opposite of how the M9 files work...
Interesting Gary to know that esp between the M240 and M9, my processing with the mono requires both the highlight recovery and brightening underexposed areas, but using more of the highlight recovery slider for sure, but thats when I use a .9 nd filter
I'm trying to learn shooting wide open with the noct and mono, it's so tricky

Yep, CCD vs CMOS. Kind of like slide vs negative film.
I've been away on a landscape photography workshop during this weekend and for the first time I brought the M9 to a workshop (together with some Canon gear as well) and it was great fun using the M9 in the field.
Here is a first batch with the ZM 18 Distagon which, to no surprise, turned out to be an excellent landscape lens.
Thank you very much Gary and Phil for your nice comments!
I wish I was sponsored by Zeiss
Allen, very nice b/w sets, especially the second one!
Phil, beautiful dreamy look with the Nocti.
Gary, I really like the 21SEM look. Very sharp without being overly contrasty.
Edwin, those RGB colors look a bit contaminated Nice shot!
Joakim, the Distagon 4/18 rocks! I already regret selling mine. The first 2 shots are outstanding!
