Thanks for comments, guys.

Charles, Hilmar, I process those night photos through VSCO film03, I recently bought it based on recommendation from Joe a while ago, and saw some interesting photo process through those. I did tweak WB, exposure, shadow, contrast and clarity individually. I will not use it often, but certainly very fun for seeking different look occasionally. especially for Low light, high noise file in this case.

Charles, the portrait has a lot presence. and 28cron surfer shot is great. Nice composition and really 3D.
Ryan, excellent zoo series, 2nd one is really nice.
Dan, Like the 2nd, I agree what you said and I actually found high ISO Leica shot are very usable, even more so than D700 sometimes after processed.
Joakim, the first one has very nice PP. I love the look.
Allen, Justin, nice street set.
Andrew, enjoy both set, especially BW one.
Ron, the snow shot from you are really nice. now, you feel the pain of changing lens
Gary, I really enjoy the BW shot from you. more! Lighting is great, and keep me focused on your son's concentration. Nice composition, story and lighting. A keeper.
Joe, thanks for comment. I forget to answer your recommendation of RX1, I have to say its performance is best of 35mm length right now. but I can't getting myself into it for its ergonomics, which i value very high. at least not at $3000, I'd get 6d or 5dIII with my 35cron R for the price.

Edward, Sonnar is a great lens. I still love it. I took one of my favorite BW with this lens on M3. It is light and has almost comparable performance with 50lux WO within 2M. You need a fast glass. congratulation.

Charles, superb portrait and rendering from the Noctilux. Very Zeissy dare I say

Zhangyue, thank you very much. The lens is shipping today and I can't wait to receive it. I don't know yet if it's optimized for wide open or 2.8 so that's going to be a little surprise for me. The b/w shot is amazing! Very nice rendering. I really like the symmetry and colors in the last shot too.

Charles, superb portrait!! Plus I wouldn't know it was fluorescent lighting with the pp, nice!

Michael, excellent set, the picture of your children and the first ZM21 shot are my favorites. You bought VSCO 3? Nice. I would suggest trying VSCO film pack 2 or #1 as your first choice rather than VSCO 3 which is more of an emulation of instant film packs.

Edward, looking forward to your Sonnar 50mm pics!

Thanks Edward, Charles, Joe and Michael.

Andrew, nice b&w set.
Ryan, good set from the zoo. How do you like the 90 AA by the way? The tower is used for hunting and I think the english term is hunting stand. It is mostly used for hunting moose.
Charles, nice to see some from the seashore from you again. The first one is excellent and both makes me long for my 28 cron that is in Solms. Very nice portrait as well.
Michael, I too enjoyed the processing of the first set and like the b&w with the 21 Biogon.
Edward, good luck with new Zeiss. My new 18 Distagon has arrived but I am not in Stockholm now so I haven't collected it yet but I'm looking forward to start using it.

Ryan, the middle penguin shot is superb! May I ask which lens did you use?

Charles, I really like the second shot of the surfer, extremely well executed!

PS. I want to work in your office Nice Noctilux portrait!

Zhangyue, Your images almost have a cross processed look, they are very interesting. Well done! The second set is interesting with the biogon - I like the bicycle shot.

Airfrogusmc, love the 35 lux!

Joakim, shooting snow isn't the easiest, well done.

Thank you everyone for the comments, much appreciated.

More from the shoot...

More to come.

Easy. Just photograph a ruler at 45 degrees on tripod, at every f/stop from 1.5 to 5.6.

If the 1.5 shot is front focused, it's optimized for 2.8, if the the 1.5 is spot on and 2.8 is back focused, it's optimized for wide open.

This test will help me find out if the lens has any other focus calibration issues.

I will also do an infinity test at the same apertures.

By the way, thank you Joe, Joakim, for your kind words.

Joakim, the ZM is a great lens, I'm sure you'll like it. Just be prepared to use some Cornerfix occasionally. Love the cool tones in the snow shot.

Andrew, very high caliber stuff as usual.

Allen, very nice auto-portrait. Now I know why people don't dare to protest when you take their photo
