Charles, i believe there have been quite a few versions of the Noct 50mm 1.1. Are any more well reputed than the others? thanks and thanks for commenting on my X2 several pages back. joanlvh
Paul, nice fly shot! The 24Elmarit shot of the bridge is also very nice.
Charles, more excellent shots from Thailand! Those low light shots are great! Really like the taxi shot, nice colors and very artsy!
Deang001, another very nice set, #3 is my favorite.
Najibs, very nice set with the X1.
Ajay, lots of travelling, congrats on the 35Lux! Beautiful landscape shots, the Alaskan mountain shot is my favorite.
Bruno, very nice portraits. I like the B&W tones as well.
Seekuh, #3 is my favorite from your Hamburg set. Nice composition and lines.
Paul, deang, joanlvh, Joe, Jim and Gary, thank you very much I really appreciate all the comments
Joanlvh, the 50 Nocti f/1.0 I have, is the version before the 0.95, and one that was designed by Mandler.
Paul, nice capture with the 24 Elmarit The 50 Nocti f/1.0 is a lens you can 90% of the time on the camera. The 75 Lux is more specialized, almost the same rendering wide open as the 50 Nocti f/1.0, but I find the FL more restricting.

There are three (optical) versions of Leica Noctilux, the 1.2, the 1.0 and the 0.95. There are four different bodies for the 1.0 lens, one of which is what Charles has. The 1.1 lens is a Voigtländer Nokton, and is completely different. There is only one of those.
Ajay, thank you
Carsten, yes it is the f/1.0, and it is was the very last version before the 0.95 aspherical version. There is some focus shift at between f/1.8 and f/4.0, but with the lens well calibrated the focus shift is normally within the DOF for 98% of real shooting
Shot of the Bangkok Area Revenue Office, and local building management 50 Nocti f/1.0
Three quick shots. I took a very short photo walk yesterday and took a couple of shots. It was the first time in about a month, but I hope to do some more this week.
Paul, love the one from the park with the 28 cron
Luka, great set.
Charles, very nice photo. I like the rendering of the Nocti but also color and the quite different bokeh it has compared to the 50 Lux for instance. A little lens envy , yes
