Edwin and Luka, thank you
Luka, great set! Fujichrome Velvia is a beautiful film in its rich and unique rendering.
Jack, as Ron has suggested, the PP'ing is not that difficult, and can be very quick. With the latest LR 4.1, most of your PP'ing can be done as presets, and probably not too different compared with your Nikon DSLR settings, except you have HQ tiff files. I don't bother changing the WB either, and just leave it set on auto
Dan, really neat shot!
Hilmar, beautiful shots! Love the gentle lighting on #2 Very nice rendering with the second set. The 50 Nocti 0.95 is one amazing lens!!
Wow - been away for a few weeks and such great images!
Dan - looks like that guy has got the death grip on his beer! I know I wouldn't try to take it away from him...
Seekuh - love the second shot on the previous page. Nicely done.
I also wanted to ask if most of you are shooting in JPG or DNG most of the time. I have been using JPG for my everyday type of shooting and DNG for more "important" type of shots. I like the auto WB I get out of the JPG's much better than what I can achieve shooting RAW.
Hilmar - great series of images that really complement the capabilities of the Nocti! Love the rendering of the bottles, the BMW and the baby on the previous page.
Charles - nice continuation of Bali and great series of portraits. I think the B&W versions work nicely, even if you prefer the colour set. Love the last beach image!
Dan - that looks great for ISO 1250 pushed a stop! Very nice light and colour.
Bruno - cool set from the airport - always lots of good photo possibilities.
Doug - like the first two B&W landscapes in particular and that's a very nice portrait a few pages back!
Michael - new ride? Great rendering from the 35 Cron... might have to reconsider that lens.. just never felt it was a great bang for the buck (at least the ASPH version). Very nice tonality from the 50 Cron Rigid, as always. Very electric feel to the jellyfish image. Also saw the portraits of your daughter in the Zeiss thread... is she auditioning for a role in The Ring 3?
Andrew - nice set from Shanghai - particularly like the 28 Cron rendering and the 50 Lux ASPH B&W images.
Luka - Enjoyed the abstract set back a couple pages, particularly the third image. The Velvia set is cool too... did you do any color tweaks?
Joel - enjoyed the band photos and the color treatment.
Joakim - nice set, particularly the house - love the clouds in that image.
Kind a been slacking off a bit with image posts....
Tropical island holiday:
M9 & CV12 (just in-camera correction, no cornerfix, manually set to 21 non-ASPH):
And some more on the beach...
Above were 28 Cron except second and last were 21 Lux
Actually, not a tropical island holiday... I could only wish! It's Point Pelee on Lake Erie, the southernmost point in mainland Canada... and where the people are standing is that very point, which in some ways is a bit of a letdown once you finally see it. I guess a bit different from Key West with the big round thingy.
The actual tip:
CV12 coding off. The currents in the lake at the point are dangerous and it's kind of interesting to see waves hitting the shore from both the west and the east...
Hilmar and Ron, thank you, much appreciated
Hilmar, very neat examples with the Nocti! I feel the 0.95, is sharper than my older version f/1.0.
Ron, of course you have not posted, as you are on holidays Love the first shot. Excellent angles and perspectives
Najibs, love the B&W portraits
Hi guys, great images you've all taken. I just looked over the last few pages WOW..
Haven't had time to shoot, been busy with a few weddings (Nikon), but I'll get around to posting some shots as soon as I switch back to playing with the M9 some more.

Can we see your wedding shots somewhere? I'm interested.
Ok guys, since I'm quite excited about it, this weekend when I edit some selects from this latest wedding I'll post them on another thread and link here!
In the meantime, here's a shot from a lens that I won't name, so we'll call it prototype-X:
prototype-X @ f/2:
(think I just about nailed focus on his eyes, but his glasses were hazy so I cannot tell)
And there are a couple more photos here on my new blog (fiance insisted I start one as a "challenge" since I buy so much work gear but rarely shoot for fun): http://adamsalt.com/?p=92

Enjoy..
So you really got a prototype of the Summicron 50 APO?
Hey Adam, I enjoyed your blog and don't understand your concern about your PP abilities... Images look great! BTW, I'd love to get my hands on the 50 Cron AA for a test drive too. Is it really much appreciably different in sharpness from other 50s you've used? For example, compared to the 50 Lux ASPH at f/2? The rendering though certainly seems to align with the current 50 ASPH family.
Very nice portrait Charles and the lens's rendering is very complementary!
Najibs - Great X set, love the B&Ws! Do you notice much image quality difference between it and the OMD?
Some more from Point Pelee and Lake Erie...
M9 & 50 Lux ASPH except for the fish with the 28 Cron at f/2.8. Sorry for the dust in the first image... just noticed now I seem to have forgotten to spot that one...
