Ron - you have some great captures there. The 21 Lux and 28 Cron are probably about as good as it gets indoors. It certainly gets you in the action. #3 is excellent with the slight blur, definitely my favorite. The close up of the greens also look great. Great look you are getting out of that Nikkor
Michael - love the first B/W on the beach, great pp! The second b/w is also excellent
Andrew - great set overall. The 21 Lux photos are definitely my favorite. #1, 5, 8 and the last are my favorites, with 8 taking the cake! Great pp as well
some night shots with the 35 Nokton....all at 1.2 or 1.4
Andrew - I like the second last shot the best. That 21lux looks really nice...
Michael - #2 is a pretty neat shot.
Ron - I too like that crazy kid shot. That last shot of the leaves is superb. I stared at it for quite a while.... Also like the rope.
Ryan - nice low light shots.
zhangyue- love all three of you shots
rscheffler - wow, just wow, how close can the Nikkor focus? No issues at all, sharp as a blade, and the focusing is quite similar to the Lux which surprised me
rsolti13 - Great captures, am guilty of not using this lens more
charles.K - Thanx, awesome collection all over this thread
Why is exif on my pics shows different Fstops while am sure they were shot wide open?

Thanks everyone!
Sarheat: the Nikkor focuses to about 1m. Not terribly close, and those photos were at close to minimum distance. Great to hear you're not having any focus problems with the Nocti!
Regarding the exif info: there isn't a linkage to the aperture setting on the lens, so the camera guesses what it thinks should be the correct aperture. For long exposures it will just guess f/4 for all images.
Juano - it's been a while! Love the colors and the sailboat sunset is excellent.
Nice one Charles!
Ryan, looks like a cool place. I assume this is still Seaside? Something to keep in mind for a future holiday. Like the last one with the delicate starbursts, which I found the CV35 f/1.2 II will do even just marginally stopped down from wide open.
Starting to run low on recent material
yes, more from the 10.5cm Nikkor The middle one was around f/11, the other two were wide open.
Any experience with APO-TELYT-M 135mm f/3.4? I guess it would be difficult
to focus on an M9, but I assume the next generation camera will have live view...
I found some amazing reviews and comments about this lens, but haven't seen
too many photos anywhere. I guess the production is somehow limited
and it's hard to buy (?).
hi everyone,
Great pics all round. Love this thread.
Some recent pics with my current most used lens (35 cron ASPH). Cheers,

Andrew, nice that you could get so close. Did you crop it much - it feels like a longer than 50mm shot. Sorry, no experience with the 135 APO...
Charles, neat feel to that image, the PP colours really add to it.
KL, cool set and love the stormtroopers and moody sky in the last one.
Went out to catch the moonrise. The trick where I live is finding an interesting background for it. I wanted to get it coming up over the industrial part of town, but wasn't exactly sure where it would crest the horizon. And the area opposite the factories is across a body of water with a lot of inaccessible shoreline and trees to block views, and private properties... so this is what I got:
50 Lux:
As you can see, I was off in my positioning. Was hoping for it over the billowing steam on the left side. Need to rent a boat and a gyro sometime! That would allow the best positioning.
Yes, I remember, but it's still 'only' 75mm equivalent angle of view. M10 sounds like a Photokina announcement now. But if Thorsten Overgaards's rambling musings about what's coming next are any indication, perhaps a couple new lenses as well? 50mm? And there has been speculation about a 14mm for a while. Photokina is OK with me, since I've spent way too much on Leica glass in the past 6 or so months.... but I think I am a convert to Leica lens characteristics.
Gary: forgot to comment on your images: I like the first one quite a bit. The colour looks really good. Have you been having better luck in Lightroom with your M8 files? BTW, I have a very similar red wicker chair in the backyard, though in worse condition.
Thanks Ron. Yes, things are improving with my M8 files but still quite challenging at times. WB can be tricky but now I know what to focus on. Appreciate the helpful tips you have given me!
Thanks Charles - taken with 90 Cron Pre-AA. Seems you are enjoying the Nocti!
Ryan - love that last shot of yours. It was just a bit of snow which melted off really quickly. Seems to always happen at least once in May. The last year and a half I have been in 100-105F humid weather so I don't mind the crisp cool mountain air here.... At least I can now live without air-con!
