I have a huge oak tree in my yard. That one reminds me a bit of it, but it may need to grow some. Ok mypost referred back a bit. Silken. There was still a lot to like about them. I like that last fog shot too.
I love coming to this thread and seeing new photos. Keep up the awesome work everyone. Also, I just got a call. After a 9 month wait my 35mm 1.4 summilux FLE is in. Being shipped tomorrow to me. Wow! I`m so pumped!
Nice leading lines in that first one Charles, well seen. The second one looks amazingly bright, can you share shooting info (aperture, shutterspeed & ISO)?
Thanks Dan
The shots of course were with the 35 Lux FLE, and at night time I set the M9 to manual: ISO 640; f/1.4 to 2.0 max, and a shutter speed between 1/15 to 1/45s.
Thanks Charles, it is that 50 Lux rendering again I'm seriously considering to put myself in line for the 35 Lux, I'm going through a bunch of photos taken mostly with 35 Cron and the 50 Lux from my visit to Hong Kong last October that has just been sitting on my hard drive and while many of the 35 cron has a good quality to them there is something special every time I look at one taken with the 50 Lux.
Nice set with the 75 Lux, I think the second one is the best of them.
Ok, it's time for a snapshot. My daughter at her cupcake stand at a charity event: I honestly thought I was taking my 24mm this day, but it turned out I had my 35 ASPH Cron, and that's ok, great lens for general use.
Also, a photo with her half sister, not my daughter, but she's important to my daughter, and that's important to me. Obvious which girl is mine, since she's in both photos.
One more of my daughter with her sister in background.
Been away from this thread for a while, work kept me away from the camera and home. I need to go over the images here. Browsed through them quickly, and quite a few which I like. Enough talk, a few shots from central Italy. And the exposure lock on my camera decides to give out . Not sure how these images look on a calibrated monitor. I am working on my uncalibrated work laptop with LR4 Beta. Doing my part to get this thread to where it should belong.

joakim: Nice rendering from 50lux
Ajay: Agree this thread deserve more attention Very beautiful images especially 1,2,3. The first one is a single shot?
First time to post image in this thread. I bought M9 about 3 month ago because of this thread. Surprisingly, this is totally different manual experience than I thought. I am kind of slowly learning myself. I missed a lot shots than my D700 by using the rangefinder. I guess I just need more practices and choose the right tool to do right thing.
Still learning how to process Leica file The M9's raw definitely need more effort to bring its output to decent level compare to Nikon D700 i have. But once it is right, it just have some special quality with it, can't tell it easily.
