Charles, nice shots with the 24Lux at the beach.
Edwin, nice shots from HK and happy birthday to your little princess. Are you still shooting the M8 or have you upgraded to the M9?
Ash, nice shot with the 28Cron.
Jonas, congrats on the M8. Nice set, nice rich colors.
LL, nice shot with the 28Cron.

Sorry, no new pics. Haven't had time. This is from a few months back with the M9 35Lux ASPH. Don't think I had posted this previously.
Thank Cory Very nice compositions, particularly #1.
I rarely shoot with a tripod now. My last trip to Thailand, I left the tripod behind, and didn't miss it. I do now enjoy travelling with a minimalist approach now.
Though I may need to get the tripod out again, with ND filters. It would most definitely soften the rendering in most of the seascapes
He's also selling a 35 Lux ASPH and a 35 Cron for the same price. And a Nikkor-O 2.1cm F4 for Nikon S and Nikon S3 complete, and a Canon EF 400 f/4 DO, and a Nikon 200-400, and a Nikon 400 2.8, and a Sigma 800 f/5.6, in addition to a couple hair dryers.... Much of the rest is cheap stuff, like DVDs, though there are some other cameras and higher end bicycles too... Seems too good to be true, IMO. The camera equipment is exclusively high-end, premium products. Maybe a face-to-face, in a public location, like in front of a police station, for a hands-on inspection before payment would be in order (after running the serial number by Leica, though not sure if they keep a stolen equipment registry).
Edwin, congrats on both the M9 and 35Lux. I need to try and stay in touch with this thread more often Nice pic of the statue! 35Cron?
Cory, always enjoy your nautical sets, very nice. The first one is really nice, with the shadows and colors. I think the M9 and water doesn't go really well..better be careful while you are out in the open waters?

On the ebay listing, its a scam when they ask you to call before bidding. This is always against the auction rules. I think the pics could be stolen as well. When I sold some of my gear in the past, I had people asking for high resolution pictures to "inspect" the gear before they buy the item. You can almost always smell these types miiles away.

Two more from the archives, shot at Acadia past summer. First one, M9 35Lux ASPH, 2nd one, I think its 35Lux ASPH on Ektar100.
Cory, thanks. I like how the shadows of the anchors on the wall. It looks like arms of people lifting something together
Joe, it was taken with the 35 lux asph at f2. I was trying to get a just the right dof to expose the statue. My crons are the 50 and the 90 pre saph. You got vivid colors on that ektar 100
Photographing after work is now at its worst in Stockholm, with the sun setting at 14:48 PM. These are from yesterday; M8 with Summicron 28, handheld at 1/15 and f/2...
Martin, I just checked out the latest posts on your blog and just wanted to say that your recent images (last three posts) are bloody amazing - IMO some of your best work up to date!
If anyone is looking for a chrome M8 (updated), 28 Cron ASPH (coded, black), 35 Lux ASPH I (uncoded, chrome), or 90 Cron ASPH (uncoded, black), I will be listing them on the B&S board soon. I am getting out of the M system for now since I just don't use it, and am not interested in the M9, and won't be able to pick up an M10 for a long time, even if it comes out at Photokina. This is just too much money sitting on my shelf which I could use for other things.
Joe, love the first shot! Very dream like
Dustoff, very nice landscape!
Luka, what a tough place to spend Christmas and New Year Excellent shots!
Martin, great series!!! In spite of the weather, you are taking shots
Carsten, will be sorry to see you leave the M system!
Martin, I agree with Luka, these are brilliant (I love this kind of urban landscape work), for me especially #3.
Best wishes to you in Brazil, Luka! Looking forward to more images, assuming you'll be doing some photography and not just relaxing at the beach.
Thank you very much guys, you're too kind. And Luka, that second shot of yours is very good. I didn't even see it when I wrote my last post.
I think I've dropped the whole thought of an M9 actually. The M8 + 28 is a joy to use and noise is the only problem. I'll probably look into the Nikon D800 instead, for tripod work and very low light (still got three ZF lenses).
Daniel, I sure hope so! It is chrome, pretty well as new, and the last time I tested it, the focus shift was well within the DoF. I need to retest before making such a claim, but chances are obviously good. I have seen them going recently for an average of about 3200 Euro. I need to verify that this is still realistic. I haven't done my research yet.
Charles, I love the M system, I really do, but I just don't use it. At the moment, I am more than happy with my D3, and am considering adding something truly small and silent, much smaller and more silent than an M system, probably either E-P3 or Nikon V1. Image quality won't be the primary criterion for that system. Selling a single M lens will bring in enough money to buy a complete smaller kit, with loads left over.
This all leaves me in a "why M" situation. I love the system, but if I don't use it, and don't expect to pick up the M10 for a long time, then it is an awful lot of money to have sitting on the shelf, especially when I could pay down a loan with the money. The interest I save will probably more than make up for the loss of value in case I have to rebuy later on. It took me about 1 year to make this decision
Carsten, totally agree The M system is excellent value if it is fully used, but if not if its collecting dust. I will interested in the compact system you eventually decide on I really like the Oly's colours, and some great lens to go with it such as the Pan 20/1.7, and even pocketable too.
Joe, the first one is very nice.
Luka, nice photos from the balcony. I'm looking forward to see more from Brazil.
Martin, great set with #3 as my favorite.
