Great shots guys I have unfortunately not had the time to do any photography in the past weeks and it looks like I won't be doing any the next week or two either.
So I'm going to do something I've never done before - post my entire photographic output from the past two weeks. Usually I post a selection of images and these would have probably not made the cut.. but I don't have anything else to post. All of these were taken three days ago within an interval of ten minutes. Last year, during the same period I took a total of 372 images. This year.. 4.. oh well
Luka, very nice shots! Love the devil, and your last shot
I am using the M9/50 Lux more like, a P&S when I go out. At least I take the camera with me, and as opportunities arise, albeit no so art worthy, I just grab some shots
Hello again all! I've been busy and haven't shot with the M9 past 2 months. Took it out over the weekend and I forgot which direction to turn the focus ring .
What was worse was that the plastic cover on the Leica strap came undone and the ring got unhooked. Second time it happened to me. Luckily I could grab the strap when it happened both times. Not a good design and makes me worried.
Going back to some of the recent posts,
Luka, I was expecting a few pages of pics on this last post I like the shot of the branches best.
Ash, nice set from the marathon, I like the B&W shot best.
Charles, enjoying your recent Bangkok and musician set. You're keeping this thread alive!
Doug, nice abstract looking tree shot.
Ron, enjoy your stay in Munich! So you got yourself a 50Lux ASPH?
LL, nice set with the Nocti. I like the rendering on the lamp shot.
KL, love those "hardcore" street shots from Europe!
Can't remember if I posted some of these. Taken back at the beginning of Oct, my last photo outing.

Really like the first one Charles. I shot at the beach today for the first time in ages, god I hate shooting at the beach, sea spray can kiss my a$$.
Amazing photos, Charles. Number 1 is also my favourite but I like them all.
Here are some quick and dirty 21mm Super-Elmar-M ASPH shots.
Here is a flare test, but I was using a filter so no idea if this is because of the lens or filter. Unlikely to be a problem in usual situations regardless.
I couldn't find my 46mm adapter ring for my grad holder so these are all blends, as such I apologise for any weird ghosts etc.
some nice stuff here, I won't pick favorites, I'll let you all guess.
Joe, I gave up on the factory strap, it came loose on me a couple of times, and almost scratched my camera to boot, I ditched it in favor of a neoprene strap like I use on all my cameras. Someday I will have to tranistion to new straps, can't trust any plastic connector forever. Mine have those snap connectors, press and release type. I can snap them together without strap, or connect strap. The only fear is a stress break. I'd be seriously more worried about my larger cameras than the M9 though. But I typically support my cam weight, I don't ever trust a strap 100% for long.
Dan and Seekuh, thank you Dan, I am now resigned that sea spray and rain are part of getting the unusual shots! Now with the 24 and 50 Lux, I have taken the B+W filters off, as I have noticed a definite improvement. I would never have done this in the past!
Dan, really nice series! Again congrats on the 21 SEM From the websize images, I get the feeling the lens renders more like the 35 Cron, very sharp and excellent micro contrast.
Dan, very nice. When you've had the chance, I'd be very interested in your opinion about the SEM 21 vs. the ZM18. Also if you have the chance to try it on a NEX-5N....
Charles - nice feel with these, though the impression is still kind of wintery. Shouldn't it be relatively warm now?
Joe - the location looks familiar based on your previous outstanding post, but I think these are different. Regarding the strap, I like the Domke gripper. It's not too big/wide to hog space in the bag, etc. and flipped over offers a smooth enough surface for less friction when desired, or used normally, to keep the camera from slipping off a shoulder.
Charles, great light in the last set. #1 is my favorite
Dan, that looks like a great lens and some very nice photos. What brand of external viewfinder are you using (if you're using one)? I've gotten the 24 Elmar recently but haven't picked up a viewfinder yet, Zeiss viewfinders seems to get good reviews.
I'm using the Zeiss 18mm finder, since I find it a little narrow with the 18ZM and slightly wide for the 21mm so it's pretty close Hooray for saving $$$
Joe - great second shot
Charles - Soothing as always with the 75 Lux
Thrice - what a nice new lens to play with, I'll be interested to see what you can do with it, it might be on my buy list.
Charles, I see that the 75Lux is still on active duty Nice set. Like you muted color pp on these.
Ash, nice B&W with the 28 Cron. One of my favorite lens.
Ron, I have a Domke gripper, great on the shoulder but its a little to thick and grippy when I want to wrap the strap around my wrist for stability I actually like the thin design on the Leica strap, if only they used regular rings on the straps instead.
Anyone has any news on what new Leica cameras are coming out in 2012?
