Nice shots with the 50/1.2 and a very cute little one too!
I see the vertical banding on the #2nd pic.. did you bump up exposure in post? This is rather common with the M8, even with replaced sensors.. you really have to get the exposure right to minimize it. Also, not sure if its the lighting on #2 but the color seems to be magenta/reddish?
Thanks Joe. I did a small increase in fill light but not very much. I did a little testing after this and found that it seems to only show up at 1/90 at ISO 1250 I also found I've got two hot pixels and the brightest one is in that column. This is the first time I've noticed the problem so not sure if I just hadn't seen it or if it's something new. The color cast is the lighting. They have a lot of colored lights and I was actually pretty happy with the AWB on these considering what I've gotten at other times.
Nice shots Charles. I can really see the APO in these. B&W conversion is right on. Bet he likes them.
Excellent captures Charles. #3 & 4 are my favorites. Like the composition and colors very much. The ZM 25 will be on my list of to buy lens in the future.
Thank you Joe! Appreciate the comments The ZM 25 is a great lens to use, and really compliments the M9 well for landscapes. Combine it with the Voigtlander 25mm viewfinder, and it is a great landscape setup. I now have Gitzo GT 0531, and Feisol head tripod, which weighs less than 0.9kg, and very compact.
Bostonians don't give up on Summer without a fight! Shot this afternoon around Boston Common, one of America's oldest park. M9 35CronIV zone focus .. its good to get my 35mm FOV back. #2 & 5 cropped.
