Thrice, I'm assuming you did a focus trap? How did you estimate the distance? because that second image is very, but very good.
The day Leica adds live view...
Yes I focus trapped, I focused on the tire marks in line with the start of the blue/white stripping, I tracked the car as it approached and as soon as it reached the blue/white stripping I fired.
With the first shot I just focused in the middle of the road coming around the corner, since I needed ~f/11 to allow the panning effect the DOF covered most of the road.
I'm glad you liked the image I hope my client does as well, they certainly paid enough
Live view, video and high frame rate and I think some of the big boys will have to watch out. Add optional (recessed contacts perhaps) AF and there'll be real competition. As long as I can still use an M10 like I use and M9 and it is still classically styled and feels the same... I don't care how many features they add.

Really cool shots. As I know the Nikkor 105/2.5, I'd like to know how you attach this lens to your M9. What adapter do you use? Thank you.
Thanks mate, I have the LTM version which came with a Leica LTM->M adapter, so it is coupled and accurate.
Hey Steve, yeah, my monikor changes a bit here and there... I wish I had one all over, but I don't. Thanks much! I actually had 2 other accounts here before this one, and lost them a long time ago! .
Charles, great set, love the surf shots. Also, the brick sidewalk shot and the one before it, the wedding party is a nice set. The woman running, looking back, very nice scene.
Paul - VERY nice, imo some of your best.
Charles - Great, as usual! The beach shots are amazing! Also the first landscape shot of the beach has excellent color rendering..love it.
Steve - Nice portrait.
Edwin, I like 2 and 3-i'd love to see more from the nokton 50/1.1
The noctilux is starting to become my all time favorite.
I have been putting it to good use, and I can describe it as follows: Similar rendering to the Canon 85L II lens except sharper and just better all round.
Unfortunately I can't post most of my pics but anyway, heres a sample.
I thought it would be very similar to the 50 Summilux ASPH - and it is, but its more pleasing somehow can't really describe it. Of course the Summilux ASPH is technically just a perfect lens.
Edwin, congrats on the Cron & powerful stare & focus on # 1! You can feel his "World"! The Smile in # 2 is infectiously wonderful & the IQ of the entire set is Stellar!
Doug, excellent dynamics, composition & color! Carl Sagan would have approved!
Charles, im continually Amazed at your comps, bitingly sharp, 3D work! Processing is always Top Notch! This image is Killer!!!!!!!!!
LL, im glad your digging that 0.95! I feel the same about mine. It renders like no other!
Excellent shot & looking forward to more!
LL and Steve, thanks guys, very much appreciated
LL, what an amazing lens! Nice shot. There really is a magic about the Nocti
Steve, great street captures! It would be fun to try a Nocti out for a day, maybe two
wow Steve. On a side note, comfort muzzle or not, that is really trusting a pit. I wouldn't, but then I was bit by a Pit pup once on back of leg. hurt like $%^T%$%$#@#.
Strong dang dogs. Needless to say, for me, they are fear factor.
Beautiful scape Charles. You have great material there.
nice sillouette ll,
All, can you sign your posts with a name? That is helpful when trying to complement someone on a shot. monikors can be so difficult to remember.
Charles, I don't know what to say. Your pictures taken with the Summiluxes 24 and 75 are absolutely stunning. I like them a lot. The drawing of the Summilux 75 is very nice, too. In particular the last two shots are fantastic.
