so, I'd better stop looking at Lukas pictures and post some Leica shots... these are all m9, some with an ancient 90 2.8, some with a 50 2.0, in a model shoot I set up around Cambridge. it was my first time using a model and was quite scary, but I learnt a lot - Her being very pretty helps gloss over my mistakes!!
fgMike; I still like the last one the best. I would have cropped the right side to just before where the sweater exits the frame for a better contact with her. It made a great shot even better for me to look at.
Three of the photos are missing, but the two I see look fine. I would have been very happy with the last one myself. The last portrait looks very casual and for once a relaxed shot where the hand touching the chin does not look forced. Great job!

Thanks Henrik, Vlad, Ashok, Bruce, Mike & SKumar25.. I appreciate it.. but you're overdoing it guys - I have not recently passed away or anything like that to deserve such accolades But thanks nevertheless
Mike, great portrait shots and beautiful model. My favorite is the last shot
Great shot Charles - love the composition. It's unusual to see UWA shots from you but I really like them
Hey guys, finally I've got my very own 35mm 1.2 II!!!
Very excited to finally have my own copy, but I think I might be having an issue with either the lens back/forward focusing or my rangefinder being out of alignment.
Where would be the best place for me to get this sorta thing checked out?
I did the ruler test but that's when I realized I couldn't really get optimal contrast in the rangefinder patch.
Anyway, I'm still sorta new to the rf world so any tips would be good. Here's one of the first shots I took with the lens:
Fixedgearmike, love that last portrait shot! Very nice pose and angle
Steve and Luka, thanks, much appreciated
Luka, yes I am really enjoying the 24mm FL, with the 24 Lux for now!
Gary, very nice, love the location!!
Brody, definitely find a reliable and fast service centre, and I am sure the problem can be resolved quickly
Steve, superb street captures!! Favs here are #3 and 4.
Martin, very nice low light shot! Almost looks like a painting.

An evening portrait with 24 Lux @f/1.4
Lovely portrait. Thank you.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to assess the differences between the rendering of the summicron 28 and the summilux 24 on the forum. The summilux 24 seems to be nice though. What do you like better about it?
