Charles - wow! now you guys are really making me jealous. I would love the 24 Lux....being that on Nikon my absolute favorite lens was the 24 f/1.4. Great start, definitely want to see more from that lens

I absolutely agree. The Nikkor 24/1.4 is a superb lens and my Nikon favourite, too. I miss it. From time to time I contemplate getting the Summilux 24. However, what I liked about the Nikkor 24/1.4 was the much smaller minimum focussing distance which is quite important with respect to wide-angle lenses I think. Besides, the Summicron 28 is a hell of a lens and I love it so I don't miss the Summilux 24 that much. Would love to see more pictures taken with that lens though. Keep them coming, please.

Ryan, thanks I think this is one of my favourite lenses on the M9, even with my brief time with it Ideally my lens kit for travel now, would be the 24, 50 and 75 Lux, and maybe 90 Cron Apo.

This sounds like a perfect travel kit to me. I have the 28 and want to buy the SuperElmar 21 in addition as soon as it is available. However, the Summilux 24 instead of the other two lenses might be the holy grail.

Yes, I also had my order in for the 21 SEM to complete the kit, and it was due to arrive 2 months ago. Last week, I was offered the 24 Lux new, at a great price, so for now, I will be cancelling my order for the 21 SEM.

Have you ever owned then Cron 28? Can you compare it and the Lux 24?
