Ryan, excellent shots! Love the composition of #1, 2 and 3 I see the 50 Lux is a favourite Great portrait shots of your daughter. The Nikkor 105 is a definite favourite lens of mine!!
Eos3d, great to see larger versions of your shots!!
Great shots ryan!
Awesome scenes from your selection Luka!
Lovely set eos3d -
Corporsant - your film shots are lovely - your scanning is fantastic - what's your workflow like? Sorry to ask if this has been asnwered before.
Jokim that shot is lovely!
Najibs, love the set.
Tx for the kind words on the +PHotographer Interview. Will update the thread on upcoming ones - should be around 1 per week (it's a weekend thing) if time permits. All in the name of fun (and with residual energy after a hectic work week).
Just 2 pics from my loan M9 (whilst my own is still in Solns)
Thanks singletrack I love the light in your second pic. It makes me want to go and relax on one of the tables there
Ryan, great pics. As Charles said, the rendering is poetic, especially in pic #3
Luka, more nice shots with the 28Cron and 90Cron.
Ryan, I like your recent 50Lux shots, especially the contrasting orange on the muted background shot and the red gate shot. The Nikon 105 seems like a very nice lens, especially for portraits. Beautiful shots of your daughter! You seem to be on a treasure hunt for lenses recently?
Gary, nice shot of the church with the M8.
Eos3d, yes the larger size pics do more justice to your M8!
KL. nice shots. I almost didn't catch the runner in #1! Nicely framed. Did they give you a loaner M9-P to try out?

A few more quick edits from my airport series. #1 is a re-post in color.

Again some fantastc work getting posted on this thread.
Great work all.
Iv been lurking keeping up on everyones work but have had little time to enjoy the internet forums. Here are some from my Calgary tower project. Apart from these shots, I have been busy doing some stitched pano's. I am still post processing them, but so far the results look interesting.
eos3d, very nice set from Montmartre. I think you managed to capture the feel of the place pretty well. Very nice shots from Luxembourg & Trier. My favorite is the first Trier shot.
KL, love the composition and the B/W conversion of the first shot. Great light in the second one!
Ryan, nice set with the 50 Lux. The last shot is my favorite.
Joe, again, excellent use of light. #2 is my favorite.
Gregory, cool set!
Joakim, great moody shot of the dock!
Alright, to offset eos3d's classic European sets, I've got something completely different: Las Vegas
This was towards the end of the US trip and we stayed one night. From the brief stay I can say that Las Vegas is unbelievable. I mean that literally, you simply can't believe what you are seeing. The first interesting thing was the stark contrast between the tourists in Vegas and the people that frequent the national parks. Las Vegas was like a different planet.
Then there's the place itself saturated with an extraordinary amount of vulgar kitsch. I'll start with an image that I think captures the essence of Las Vegas:
First you have those fake renaissance frescoes, then you have those patriotic platitudes on the flags and finally in the background you can see the heart of it, the casino..
I can actually highly recommend Las Vegas - it's definitely worth a visit from a purely anthropological point of view. It’s so over the top in every respect that it's definitely worth seeing. We only took a ten minute walk on the Strip as it started raining, but I think it is really a street photographer's paradise.
