Nate: not sure because I haven't bothered to try C1 yet. It's easy enough to fix in LR or PS, though not necessarily as effective as C1. In LR: select the adjustment brush, zero all values but change saturation to -100, or thereabouts. Paint over the area. You can play around with the saturation setting if you like. Click on the small color picker box and move the color picker around until the desaturated area matches the surrounding area of color. However, this applies just one hue, so for something like skin tones that tend to have subtle variations, it may not work so well on large areas because it will make it all one hue. In your case you use a very small brush size and just dab the color spots, but it would be a PITA. This method works well enough for color moire in textiles with a solid color, etc. I'm sure C1 would be better... just don't feel like spending the money on it at the moment, though I do believe you can try a trial first.
najibs - love the b/w shots of the kid in the sand....2nd one is excellent!
Charles - great shots of the horses two pages back - #2 is my favorite. The portrait in Bangkok with the 50 Lux is also excellent!
Gary - about time! Great first entry - how are you liking the setup so far? Did you get the Biogon C?
Shaun - congrats on the M9! I know you have been wanting one for some time. Boring subjects or not the Noct always makes them interesting . Those boxes look all too familiar...I still have a house full of them from a move last month
KL - another great interview of someone we know well here
Daniel - Absolutely stunning images...long time no see! I'm not picking a favorite, I think they all fit that title. The HDR is so subtle it is perfect! Beautiful scenery you Aussie's have
Luka - more stunning images from the US. #3 is my favorite - what lighting!
Mike - how are you liking the 28 Cron so far?
Finishing off the cemetery shots...all with 50 Lux ASPH

Corposant, nice Austin-Healey and interesting to how the 28 Cron looks on color film.
I know the 28 Cron is highly revered for it's treatment of colors, however I think in this shot you're seeing a stronger bias to the film being used. Portra 400 has this "look" and I don't think the lens can really influence it enough to change it. I actually have a roll from the 28 Cron on Morfeus' favorite film (Ektar 100 - joking, of course) where the Cron actually really impressed me in terms of color balance and intensity (particularly in the blues).

Nice series here - I have to say, I really like the 28 Cron, though my wallet now refuses to sleep in the same room as me (we're in a fight).
I am on the hunt now for a 50 Lux ASPH and I think that will round out my kit on the M front. I'll also get the added benefit of standardizing on 46mm filters as well for when want to warm things up a bit. The problem is that I will likely sell my 50 Cron to fund it, and I will REALLY miss this lens. I love it's "veiling flare," detail, size, built-in hood... not sure if there's really anything I really hate except for the fact that I have to put it away when it gets too dark, where a Lux would probably get me another 20 minutes of shooting.
Luka, nice set and the first one is great. I know you had a busy schedule so I have to ask did you wait for the cloud in the first photo or was it just in place? It fits the composition very much.
Charles, lovely portrait.
Ryan, nice end to your cemetery series.
Corposant, nice car and nice photo.

Thanks. Haha, no, I'm not quite that ambitious. The clouds were there by accident.
Thanks for the comment Ryan. Yes, you knew it was only a matter of time before I succumbed! I bought a great condition, black M8 (black dot and black beauty leather) which I am really enjoying. I have only been out with it once as I just got my lens (ZM35C) a short while ago. So far I can say that I am really enjoying the form factor of this camera. I find focusing easy and it is a joy to use. I really need a couple of other lenses though. I plan to use the ZM35C until the end of the year and then pick up a few more (hopefully) during my first home leave to Canada. There is a shortage of good camera gear (expecially Leica) here in Manila. The outrageous customs/duty fees will also keep me from buying anything online...... BTW - should I be getting these ZM lenses coded? Does it provide any value aside from EXIF information? Thanks.
Luka and Joakim, thanks
Mike, very nice shot of the Austin Healey Love the 28 Cron on film!
Eos3d, excellent shots! I agree with Carsten, would love to see the larger versions of the the shots I understand the 40 Cron is an excellent lens.
Luka, excellent set again! I have always been partial to rocky landscapes
Gary, congratulations on your M8 My understanding with the M8, it is important that the lenses are coded, whereas with the M9, you can manually input them if they are not!
Thanks to KL for the interview, it was fun! Can't wait for your next interview to come up! Actually, this thread here is a perfect hangout for me, great shots all around with various genres, excellent and honest technical discussions.. Keep it up guys!

Charles, the pictures of the horses are beautiful, excellent shots! The 90Cron shot of the horse is my favorite! Back in Bangkok for more portraits? Nice shot!
Gary, congrats on your M8. Hallelujah indeed, post more pics soon! You can manually code the lenses with a felt pen. Carsten made a page somewhere in the www with most of the Leica lens codes. Check it out.
Shaun, congrats on the M9! I hope you'll like it as much as many of us do
Daniel, stunning landscape shots! It's been awhile since you posted! All nice but the 2nd and 3rd shots are my favorites!
Luka, more excellent shots!! The 1st pic with the 90Cron AA is stunning, love the details captured. Love the cloud formation on the 28Cron shot.
Corposant, nice Potra scan, lots of details captured by the 28Cron, looks sharp. The 50Cron is such a classic lens, if you like this FL, I suggest you consider keeping it as a backup to the 50Lux ASPH, else you might regret it later.
Ryan, really like your selective focusing on the finger with the 50Lux! Excellent!! Also like the last B&W shot a lot!
Eos, welcome back, excellent set from Paris, really nice composition and framing on the Sacre-Coure shot
Najibs, nice shots with theZM25. Its a really sharp lens.
