Ryan, never cease to amaze me with what you take away from the cemetery.
Joe, that bus shot is very nice. I can't put my finger exactly what it is but something made me stare at it for a bit. Tones, composition...its jiving with me.
njibs, camping with the M8 turned out pretty good in my opinion. How is the 40 cron on the M8? I always wanted to try that pair but never got around to it. What framlines does it bring up?
Ok, sorry for these rather boring subject matter. I have been moving the past few days and continuing doing so the next few days. However, I just picked up a M9! I had to take some tests shots of something!
Mix between Noctilux E60 and 35 Cron V3 I'm trying out. I think the first 4 are the 35 and the last 2 are the noct. The chandelier shot was shot a 1/8, ISO 1000?, F/2. That is capable enough for me. I'm so used to not pushing the M8 because of the noise...This M9 is blowing me away. No more UV/IR filters and my focal lengths are now right! YES! Ok, on with the boring subject matter.
Gregory, nice portraits.
Ryan, great b&w photos from the cemetery. #2 and #3 are my favorites.
Charles, #1 and #3 are very nice. Did you miss the purple fringing in #3 or couldn't you get rid of it?
Shaun, I'm glad you prioritized your Leica gear when unpacking

It works very well, in my opinion. A bit better than the CV 35/2.5 I had last week. Brings up the 50 frame lines, but with a rubber band, I can make it hold the 35 frame lines, and then it's no issue. The 35 frame lines work very well. Now I need to get my ZM 25/2.8 and see how that works on the M8.

FMers, any clue what these color compression/morie artifacts might be?
*snip*
I am specifically talking about whatever is spattered all over his cheek. I see this is most of my shots and it is in the RAW file too.
Tried opening the files in Capture One? It is Moire.
KL, great interview about Jo!!! Fascinating read
Nate, try C1 Pro, as Daniel has suggested already. Very quick and easy fix The latest version now is C1 Pro 6.2.2, which has some new features.
Daniel stunning shots! Very nice work with the HDR too

Thanks, that's what I thought. Great shots BTW, I commented on your blog post about them earlier today.
