Nice pano Dan! 4 stops would be 5.6, Joe. CV 12/5.6? Doesn't look that wide though.

Thank you Luka
Tobin, you must tell your girlfriend she took a great shot Great skin tones. Really like the CV 35/1.4.
Dan, I would guess the FL is 18, maybe 21, and we now know it is f/5.6... must do some more research

Tobin, nice portrait of you with the 35/1.4 MC

A quick search on google came up with one f/5.6 lens in m mount, CV 12m Heliar. Maybe Kyle will get the cookie

joe88,
Thrice told me that it was coming in the mail a couple days ago, so I guess I don't really deserve the cookie
Thrice, once you test it for a couple days I'm sure we would all love to hear what ou think of the ultrawide.

Thanks,
Kyle

If that's a 12mm, that tree must be right in front of the glass!

Tobin, your girlfriend is pretty good. Nice shot.

Jairy, nice work with the 28. Really like the B&W conversions.

Jairy, nice B&W with the 28. I think that focal length works great with the M8. I wonder if Cosina would release a 25mm 0.95 for M mount

Kyle, nice cookie shot Don't think that was shot with a X1/M8/M9? just kidding..

Tried something different from the weekend. Wanted to see how the M8 and 35CronIV dealt with architectural shots. I don't normally shoot buildings so forgive me if the composition is not right. I also had to reset the camera and remove the batteries during the shoot and it defaulted to jpeg mode.. didn't realize until I got home

Thanks jairy I really like your shots. I like the 28/35 often for portraits, and even though not as supposedly flattering, just makes for a lot more intersting shots.

Well done Rod and Kyle!!! I like the cookie

Really nice shots joe. I like #2 ! I have been reprocessing some my M9 raw files shot taken with the 35 Cron Asph, and I suprised how much detail and rendering is in them. I am continuously learning how to use the DNG files with different profiles in ACR and CS5.

Thanks Kyle and Charles. I think I'm not supposed to chop of the top of buildings but I'll try again next time

Charles, you are spoilt for choice if you have both the 35CronAsph and Zeiss 35. How do you decide which to take out for a walk?
