Rod, I think the second set of Canon 50 gives a good impression of the lens wide open. Thanks for sharing.

Charles, nice street shots. Like the varied subjects on #2. The planar seems like a nice lens. Didn't realize cowboy hats are popular down under.

35mm C-Biogon at f/5.6. I screwed up the exposure (left on auto-iso by accident) so it's a little off, but alright.

Pano stitched from quite a few images.

I also got a new toy today, will try and shoot a bit with it tomorrow but I leave for New Zealand in 6 days and have a bit still to organise.

A cookie to whoever can guess which lens it is, if no one can I'll give a clue.

Hey Charles, an uncoupled 15/2.8 doesn't really appeal to me... if the lens were a tad wider and/or slower I might make do with it being uncoupled

Here is a 2000px version of it. Very strange that it still makes stars from point light sources when wide open, I can see the aperture blades when the lens is wide open, I wonder if anyone has tried modifying it to open up further.

4 stops should be f4 so ... either 21/4 super angulon or 21/4.5 Zeiss or 21/4 color skopar? I'm thinking its the super angulon or it could be the tri-elmar
