Joe, Boris and Luka, thanks
Ryan, love that shot with the elmarit!
Luka, wow... great shots! The colour and depth really stands out. I was not impressed by the Ektar 100, but love the Velvia
Corposant, nice shot.
I think Velvia under the right conditions comes the closest to digital colors. It can look really good. On the other hand it seems to be very sensitive as far as exposure goes and it hits the colors hardest. So you can get some really poor colors out of it as well..

Thanks, that was the last (barely) useable shot before it became too dark to use the 90mm. I am curious to see how your film came out!
The lab I went to did a real sh*&ty job with the scans. Third time I have had an issue with them. I bought a scanner but its still in the box - we are moving in a week or two and I don't feel like opening more boxes . I will have to rescan as soon as we get situated
Nice shots Charles. #3 is excellent. Did you use a flash with the last one?
I have been wanting to try film but as you know I no longer have a DSLR....and I want a backup to the M9. I would like an M9 but can't justify another $6K - $7K sitting on the shelf....so a film m mount camera makes sense for me. Though a ZI + scanner adds up to at least an M8
Charles, fantastic series from the Wat Saket temple, escpecially the first image (portrait) is really great. Which lenses did you use? I would guess the Lux 35 II for the portrait.
NikkorAIS--Your fence shot with the noctilux reminds me of my fence shot with the 21/lux. -- i love your shots #12 and #13 (the 12mm ASPH and the next one)
Loving Life, Your last set of shots are stellar but the the third shot with the 21 Summilux is just outstanding. Everything from the framing to the color perspective...OO is spot on.
Boris and LL, thanks guys
Boris, for the portraits I normally use the 35 Lux, as it is very hard to isolate with the 28 Cron
Gregory, another very nice set!
LL, really nice set! Love the 21 Lux shot
Luka, great photos with Velvia, the one with the canon is my favourite. The bokeh from the 35 Lux (?) in that photo looks different to digital or is it just my imagination.
Charles, great photos from the temple
LL, nice b&w portrait and the last one is great.
Gregory, I really like your reflection photo with both the reflection and things under the surface visible.
Ryan, nice nice pics. Greg, excellent set too. Great shots too LL.
Luka, tx for the velvia shots! Gorgeous colour!i will go get some soon - had written off colour as my scanning solutions provider did not come through with the scans of ektar 100 (looks like, as you put it so well, "East German postcards from the 1960's").
Some shots from this week -
35 Lux ASPH v1 - strangely 3D - the shots is not that great but i thought the effect at f1.4 was unusual
Tx joakim! Yes, Paris. Back for a short visit. So much more crowded then memory serves me. Been 6 years since my last trip but the crowds look like they have doubled/tripled! Other than the crowds, it has been super fun.
Gregory, nice set - I like the smudges/tracks on the ground. Cool reflection shot as well.
Ryan, I can see your shots again. A couple of nice sets. My favorite is the pink bridge shot on the previous page. As for scanning - yes I do my own scanning now with an Epson V700. Not fantastic but better than the rubbish I get from the lab I use.
LL, love that last 21 Lux Shot.
KL great shots from Paris!

I revisited my favorite construction site today armed with the 90 AA. I'm going to do something a bit different now though. Ordinarily I would have picked one of these shots but instead of posting a variety of different photos, I'll give you a variation on a theme.
