LL, congrats on the 50 Lux. Very nice rendering!
Ryan, very nice set! Got to love the 28 Cron #3 and 4 are my favourites here.
Malkovic, nice shots!
Joe, very nice shot! Great rendering and tones
Luka, excellent set! I do spend quite a lot of time in rainforests, and these shots are great. I have not heard of this plant, and it does look like something out of a science fiction movie My favourite here is #3 and 5
Sorry Phil, I missed your note earlier. The bulb is white
One more with the 28Cron @ f/2. Its been raining all week and I'm stuck indoors. Contrary to many of you here, I need more DOF at times for the kind of shots I do. The 28Cron works well for me in these instances, even at f/2, I can get some depth in the shot.
Ashok, nice moody shot. I would probably have cropped it a bit though - to reduce the amount of black space on the left size.

Very Nice Luka, that plant looks like it is setting off some sort of odor , or maybe it's not one of those odor plants?
You are quite correct. It's nicknamed the "dead horse plant" as it smells like, well, a dead horse...

How does the 35mm Cron compare to the 28mm? Can one expect the same sharpness and strong saturation?
No. The 35 Cron is plenty sharp, but the 28 Cron colors are unique to that lens. It's a special case. The 50 Lux ASPH is I think the closest you get to the 28, but not all the way.
Wow! Great stuff Luka! Amazing composition and love all the pics!
Charles, that pic is simply marvellous! Looks like it is strobe lit even though naturally lit only right? Gorgeous tone as well.
Charles, nice portrait!
LL, nice shot. I think this is where the 21Lux (or 24Lux) really shines, for low light work on the M.
Malkovic, nice! Like the framing on #2 & 3 on this set.

.... Too bad that I don't have 28mm framelines on my M2.
Heinz
Heinz, consider an external VF on the M2? I don't have the 35CronASPH to compare but the 28Cron seems very sharp yet smooth and is able to hold tons of micro details. I think part of the appeal is the way this lens renders. Its really a great lens to have on the M setup, hard to be disappointed unless the focal length is not the right one for you.
Luka, nice colors.
That kind of plant was also flowering over here in Brussels a few months ago.
They described the smell as a combination of rotten meat & fish and rancid cheese
Joe - That rendering reminds me of several of the 50 Lux ASPH shots I have seen. Nice use of the DOF
Charles - Great portrait and like the conversion! The 75 Lux is king for portraits! And don't get too excited...I am just borrowing a 50 Cron
LL - Nice show of what the 21 Lux can do at night hand held
Malkovic - Another great set, love the rendering of that lens. #3 is my favorite
As for a 28 Cron vs 35 Cron comparison.....I think both are equally as sharp wide open but I far prefer the bokeh of the 28 Cron. The 35 Cron ASPH is a little rougher in the oof areas where the 28 Cron is as smooth as can be. Colorwise the 28 Cron is more saturated and the 28 Cron appears to be contrastier. Both are EXCELLENT lenses. I had the 35 Cron ASPH and sometimes wonder why I gave it up for the 35 Lux.
Ryan, thank you Excellent set of shots! I really like the compositions to #4 and 5. Very nice conversions in #1 and 2. 50 Cron... I was expecting a new acquisition
