Today I saw interesting light falling of this orb architectural detail. The stairs lead up the National Museum in Parma's Library. I was just going to shoot the orb and light, but then this "Indiana Jones" style guy came down the stairs. This is an ancient building. Intentional or not I am not sure, but in this light the Orb reminds me of the Moon with craters.
absolutely stunning. Since moving from Sony on which I frequently did long exposure to M cams I've forgotten how I often enjoyed using a tripod. How long was that exposure?
I just did one the other night, realized after I was stopped way down, may try again tonight.

Thanks Irwin! It's easy to forget just how capable M bodies are for landscape work, and those tiny lenses can punch way above their weight. This one I actually consider it to be APO in color error correction.
I'm pretty sure this one was a 25 second exposure.
Yesterday evening it was raining and misty here in Parma. But that doesn't stop the locals from enjoying shopping and the Holiday season here. The city is so happy and colorful this time of year. Still a little "troppo freddo" for this Southern California boy.

It wasn't raining when I left the house so I took the M11. Since they say it is not weather sealed I normally bring the SL3 when it is wet out. But I shot for a couple of hours without issues thankfully. So, it does tolerate some weather...

Steve you have been killing it lately with these street scenes. I really am liking the color and overall look of these images. Reminds me a bit of the street paintings of Gustav Caillebotte. Well done brother. Could be a book in these.
