A colossal sculpture in Sri Lanka of the dying Buddha going into nothingness (parinirvana), but the fine lines of the folds of his robe are calling back to life.

today we cruised on our bikes around Biltmore Estate. It was a beautiful sunny day, so I took with me the 21 super elmar and M11P, perfect for stopping down to f11 and only having to compose but not focus as the in focus zone on that lens is enormous.
