This might be one of the coolest photos I've taken. Time and again the Q2 just asserts itself as a complete photographic package. The lens and sensor really shine in black and white, to the point that I find myself only wanting to shoot B&W. This is the monochrome HC jpeg setting, no real editing.
Nice one.
+1 for how the Q2 produces mono files from it. Without it being a dedicated mono body, it ain't too shabby.
Bored on this dreary day so I pulled out the M11M (still my favorite camera), attached the Elmarit 28/2.8, and came up with these. Really scraping the bottom of the barrel here 🤓
I have several pages to go through. Been busy with work, but did pick up a new toy to play with. Got a 35 Cron 8e in excellent condition...comparing it to the 35 Lux steel rim reissue. Took it out last night and getting around to looking at photos, I'm blown away. I had the LLL 35 previously and just never cared for it, so wasn't anticipating to be blown away by the Cron. This lens is unbelievably sharp in the center and the bokeh is definitely my style. Here is one of the first shots I took with the M11-P - unedited
