Popped into the mother ship of SF today to see how the Noctilux 1.2 reissue handled. WOW. Hard to discern from the Lux, though I suspect the black chrome version I have brings them closer to one another.

Shot with the M8. (First pic with 40 Cron, second with reissue)

Indeed. In truth, in the world of mostly manual, I’m really not missing much. I’ve done 20x30 prints from the M8 and they’re stunning. Don’t get me wrong, I love my 10-R…there’s just a different kind of satisfaction I get with the limitations imposed with the M8.
