There was a fire scare today in my community in San Clemente, CA. It's being called the "Pico Fire" since it started near Avenida Pico, about 2 or 3 miles from my house. The winds were gusting, and the humidity was extremely low at just 5%. The fire burned around 1 or 2 acres and was getting dangerously close to homes and businesses. I took a walk from my house to the site and snapped this picture. I spoke to a firefighter on the scene (the lady in the middle in the image), and she told me the fire was 100% contained, which was a huge relief.

look what we got down here in San Diego. Leica flew in a crew and installed a Leica Boutique at Nelson's Photo and Video on Sunday. Now we can buy Leica products locally, and they are stocking the boutique with demo products so we can actually try before we buy.

They need to cover that red dot on the wall with gaffer tape before someone steals the store.
