Beautiful shot! The low tide adds such interesting textures to the foreground, and the exposure is perfect.

Thanks... I'm slowly working my Leica rangefinders into my nature photography. The M 240 handles this type of light much better than the M9.

I'm heading out again tonight to shoot low tide... attached another shot that is only possible when the tide is out.

A little high key in color from yesterday. The historical Botanical Garden Building right next door to the art gallery just underwent a multi-year restoration. It just re-opened so this was my first time to see it. Amazing building with interesting light everywhere. This young Woman was getting a phone picture taken by her boyfriend, and I just snuck in a grabbed this shot. No one saw me. So much potential in this new location. Once again with the D-Lux 8.
