I sold my M10 a while back in order to offset the cost of redundant gear for my nature photography (need to have my priorities in the right place). Anyway, I found an M9 at a steal of a price $1050 (body) and $235 for a 35mm Color-Skopar. The shutter has only 3400 acuations (+/-), and there are only a few corrosions spots. I head out to Iceland today and will bring the M9 to photograph Reykjavik and travel reportage stuff. Once I'm home, I'll send the body off to Kolari to get corrosion-free glass and use the camera until it dies... If the modification clears up the corrosion, I'lll begin looking for a pair of lenses that can make the most of the unique CCD sensor.
Anyway, here's one from yesterday... seems to work just fine
