Bob's a great guy to meet up. I think it's already been over 10 years since we did a walkabout in Minneapolis. Nice to see he eventually followed the logical path to Leica.
I was a bit slow but eventually came around! I think you’re right on ten years . . .
The group from the Leica meeting in Los Angeles went down to Venice Beach for a couple of hours of photography. We have had perfectly clear sunny conditions here in Beverly Hills. But when we got to within a few blocks of the Beach we were engulfed in fog. It added some mood and nice soft light for our images.
Here is a small collection of Black and White images I shot. Venice Beach is a very "target rich" environment. The event is very busy with lots to do so I will not get to edit much before going home. I will try and gae a few color images posted later today.

Which version did you get? I tried the V2 and think I got a bad copy because my 28 Ultron was better in EVERY way.
V2-
Candidlly the Ultron is probably the better pure optic- I like the subtle look of the 28 Cron and by far prefer the look and handling of it. I got one at a very good price so the extra cost over the Ultron make sense to me. I have owned the ultron and just never liked it-
