That's some "gentle" looking flare. Reminds me of my 40 Cron, but the flare is not nearly as harsh.

Can't resist reposting this image after seeing a 36 x 24 inch (90 x 60 cm) print of it at a place I'm staying right now. I must say that the print is more engaging than the image on my monitor, particularly the falloff of the highlights and the specular highlights, as well as the blacks in the lower right corner. The print was made on an Epson printer from an Imacon Precision III scan.

M246 40 Cron

Note: One might wonder why SS is 1/500 at ISO 6400 in the first cafe image. I was shooting 6400 in the dark street, and rather than menu adjust the ISO, I just dial adjusted the SS for the exposure diff, and went back to 1/60 for the street, rather than going into the menu twice.

I reckon I could have stopped the lens down, instead, but for those with the "curious mind", that's my story ... and I'm stickin' to it.
